Just depends how far away from the tv I am

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say the main reason they haven't opened up all ships to all backers all the time is so they don't end up with everyone wanting to only fly one ship. That doesn't help them create proper balancing. I'm saying this even though at this point the ships seem to have turned into an ATM for CIG.

I kinda wanted to buy it for quite a while but had a bad feeling I wouldn't like it because I've never really liked motorcycle games. Once I saw it on Steam Early Access I went ahead and got it since it was only $18. It was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. I was up to level 3 before I deleted it from my system. It's got bugs but they're not really game breaking and I only deleted it because I didn't want to get burnt out on the game before it's real release. I've got a couple of other early access games I'm doing the same thing on.

At this point if I were to buy one of those systems it would be a PS4 simply because it's in the lead, therefore any cross platform titles will be designed for it first. I have no plans on getting any console right now though because almost all of the games can be found on PC and PC has Steam sales.

I personally think Paperboy could have been done back in the day. Call it a gut feeling.

Latest update is kind of a kick in the balls to the current Kickstarter backers:

Lloyd's likeness may not be secured. This will mean altered backglass and voice samples to scrub his likeness from the table.

They waited untill the campaign was fullly funded to break the info. Atariboy, you were right not to trust them...
I don't see anything in the text on the Kickstarter campaign but it's in the Kickstarter video at 6:46.

Carmageddon Reincarnation is 40% off right now. Not sure how long it's going to be before the actual game is released but they've stated the next release will be the official one.

That's really cool of Andy to take the time to write up all that.

Hopefully the funding gets at least a couple of thousand dollars over the goal because I have a feeling it's going to suddenly drop again one last time. I have a hard time believing anyone would legitimately back at the $600 level when all it really includes over the $400 level is your name as a platinum backer.

Frankly, there's a time for resistance and a time for acceptance. The time to resist the idea of individual and incompatible ecosystems is long gone. They're a fact of life now. Embrace the ones you want and enjoy yourself. From a gaming perspective, this is still the best time to be alive.
I'm pretty sure it happened in June of 2013 when people were given a choice.
Otherwise, I'll buy game licenses however I can get them. If the terms of use get annoying I'll stop buying them. I refuse to buy games that force me to use Origin or Uplay. I've bought licenses to XBLA and PSN games because they were the smaller type games anyway. I have no problems buying licenses on Steam because the games I'm truly afraid I won't like I can just wait until they're 75 to 90% off the original price.
I don't collect games so I couldn't care less about not getting media to store.

I use facebook for keeping up with close friends and Family only. I shy away from the Political and Social arguments on there. My Friend list is tiny, and is only populated with people who I am in contact with in real life. I find this cuts down on the nonsense, and keeps me from embarassing myself in some dumb internet arguments on the same site where my family can see my activity. :-)
That's the reason I don't do open facebook groups. I don't want to spam my timeline with every single one of my embarrassing posts in those groups.
-
One of the nice things about facebook is it's really easy to block people you don't like. That comes in really handy in the groups.

I'd give him $75 and post that stuff on eBay as RARE!!!!!!! for $350.

Seems like a handy place to read posts from Curt that one might not normally see. I don't really plan on joining it though because I'm not a big fan of facebook groups, especially the ones that are set to public.

Sounds like she spent $500 so she could write an article about the game.

I finally figured out how to get to the race track. I won't be doing any racing at all. I like car racing too much.
Apparently right now the racing is all about learning the shortcuts. Oh and this video has a little bit of language at the 1:10 mark.
-
Why? Are we able to play new games yet?
Of course not

I've got the Cutlass and love the asteroid hangar. Looks like racing only shows up if you've forked over money for one of their race ships. I'm not going to fork over another $110 just to be a pre-alpha racing tester.

Looks like the Addams Family Kickstarter kicked off today. They need $97,640 for it to be successful. All of you Xbox 360 users should jump at the chance. Looks like the lowest backing tier is now $7.

Wow, the nerd rage is super strong with the release of the Arena Commander V0.9 patch and latest racing ship sales. I'm probably getting way too much pleasure from reading all of the complaints and whinging.
I love the latest video they released.

Yeah, I'm up by george bush and the tollway. I'll definitely have more things to sell once I do an inventory. Selling 5200 stuff is definitely better done locally.
-
Seeing this thread reminds me how little I use my 5200 stuff. Therefore, my redemption adapter is now on eBay. If you have an Atari 7800 controller that's not a pro-line this is for you. Hopefully it goes to a good home.
-
I'm selling my Redemption adapter on eBay. I haven't played my 5200 in ages and this thing needs to go to a home where someone will actually use it.

Hopefully no one here backed the Yogscast game.

Sirius and Plutos both use the same bankswitching: 78SC_R16 78BIOS
All of PacManPlus's games use the High Score Cart so they should be:
7800: FailSafe (WIP) FAILSAFE HSC_48K HSC
7800: Pacman (hack) PAC78 HSC_16K HSC
7800: Pacman Plus (hack) PACPLS78 HSC_16K HSC
7800: Pac-man Collection PACCOLL HSC_32K HSC
7800: Ultra Pacman (hack) ULTRAPAC HSC_32K HSC
7800: Pac-man Collection (Pokey) PACCOLPO 78HSCPOK HSC
Generally with all of PMPs games just right click the game file and look at the file size under "Properties". If the file size is 32k it's going to be HSC_32K HSC
Looks like Junior Pac-Man has a different bankswitch file though:
7800: Junior Pac-Man JRPAC_78 7832KR8K HSC
