Kind of a cool necrobump since MIA is no longer MIA and Plutos and Rampart prototypes have also been released.

I really wish that there was a season pass available. Any ideas when or if one will be made available?
That's actually an interesting question. Supposedly they pulled the Season passes for all systems (except Steam) because Apple wouldn't allow them until after the Season was completed. On iOS season 3 should be completed on September 12th at the rate they're releasing tables right now. Once they're able to sell a Season 3 pass on iOS theoretically they should be able to do it on all systems but somehow I doubt they'll suddenly make season passes available for the PS3 or PS4 right away. For that matter who knows how long it will take them to make the Season 3 pass available on iOS. The places they seem to answer questions are their facebook page and the forums at http://pinballarcadefans.com

There were suppose to be some new PS3 tables released in North America today and Europe tomorrow. I think it's Black Knight 2000, WHODUnnit, High Speed and Junkyard. More PS4 tables get released next week.

I'll believe it when I see it.

This kickstarter will be a test for their 'new' audience on mobile and PC... I can't see many console owners buying into this after Farsight has found ways to disrespect/screw over their customers on every gaming console.
Why do they still need a kickstarter anyway?? Haven't they made enough money by now to actually risk a little and pay the license fees on their own?
I'd guess they really are struggling for money or they wouldn't be having so many problems with Sony and Microsoft because they'd be paying to get their patches released faster.

Looks like Farsight has come to terms with all of the license holders for The Addams Family so now they'll be able to go to Kickstarter and get fanboys to give them money.
I'll give them as much for this Kickstarter as I did the last 3 combined. This means I'll give them nothing. I only used the fanboy term because personally I think they've got the worst "rewards" per dollar amount given by pledgers for any kickstarter I've ever seen.

I'm definitely happy with my decision to go back to PC gaming a couple of years ago.

My number finally came up for the Arena Commander multiplayer alpha yesterday so I went and died a couple of times with no warning and then quit. That's pretty much what I expected to happen. I didn't back the game for the PVP dogfighting though so I'll go back to waiting for the parts of the game I care about.

I'm pretty sure I'll end up spending $2 in this year's Steam sale. It seemed like all the same content as last year with very little new.

there will still be Yamaha sound.

Best Electronics will ship to Europe if you can get ahold of them. I'd recommend their super pot paddles over anything else.

Third parties can't make Mario games so I don't see why they'd come back.

I wonder when they plan to get season 2 out on the PS4. I'd love to see another retail compilation.
Microsoft would only left Farsight publish The Pinball Arcade on the Xbone if Season 2 was exclusive for 30 days. This means Season 2 will be out on the PS4 30 days after it's released on the Xbone. Farsight was hoping to release the Xbone version of TPA this month so that probably means October for it and then November for the PS4 version. Strike one up for Microsoft's parity clause.

Apparently the only way to get gamers to band together and tell a company to go fly a kite is for them to have an alternative to an online only gaming console.

Wow, someone bought a 5200 and it came with working controllers.

The top down racing sequel Generally 2 started a Kickstarter today. I loved the original and the same people are making this one.

Just throwing money away again
I just can't beleave stupid people
I doubt anyone will be throwing away money since they're nowhere close to their goal of $399,000.

I checked a coupe days ago and still didn't have access to Netflix
I don't have Netflix but I was able to get into ESPN and Internet Explorer with a silver account. I think they did the update on Friday to make this stuff work. This means I'll let my Gold account expire because I really couldn't care less about the free games or multiplayer.

I don't remember paying for PC games via subscription.

I could have sworn at one time someone said she had a working prototype cartridge of the game. I'm nearly sure of it.
At one time she might have back in the late 80s. She doesn't now.

That's what happens in mature markets. There's no evolution anymore it's just more of the same stuff. They count on selling stuff to young people who have never seen that stuff before and consider it new. Is the movie industry dead yet? All they do is rehash stories that have been around in some form or another for thousands of years.

Most people couldn't care less about playing old games 20 years down the road. They'll gladly rebuy those old games in a collection type software release, play them for 10 minutes and forget about them again.

I think the main reason Microsoft made the Kinect mandatory was so they could data mine people's living rooms and sell the information to third parties. That's why originally the console was going to be online only and people were going to be forced to keep their Kinect connected or their console wouldn't work. Maybe I'm a bit cynical though.
