Kaspersky loves flagging emulators for the same reason. Getting Prosystem to work was rather annoying.

So, why aren't we taking this grand dream to Devin Cook and seeing if he's up for it? Atari style of course!
Most likely he's not interested since he's been asked before with no response.

Ahhh, now I see why both companies are losing money. Sony is just trying to copy Nintendo. Waggle controls are dumb regardless of the platform.
-
Personally I think it should be how Tramiel would do it. It would be on the cheap so it would be something like "Gerry Cooney's Punch-Out".

It's definitely possible since there's a 2600 homebrew called K.O. Cruiser that's pretty awesome.

They won't start on the Wii-U version until they're done with the Xbox One version and completed the DX11 patch for the Steam version. Considering there are almost 7 million PS4s in homes and only 6 million Wii-Us and the Xbone is at 4.2 million after 6 months I can't say I blame them.

I'm glad Larry Bird no longer has green hair like he does with Prosystem.

Are you sure the flipper lag isn't caused by your HDTV?
There are definitely tvs with less input lag than the one I own but the Xbox 360 tables and Steam tables I have all work fine through the same AV receiver and HDTV.
Oh and what ComputerSpaceFan says is totally true. Those are the other reasons I'm glad I went to the Steam version since Valve lets developers update for free and whenever they want.
-
I'm seriously thinking of downloading the Pinball Arcade for the PS3. Is the flipper lag fairly common? I really have enjoyed Farsights pinball games on the Wii, is it worth the $10 to update and get the arcade on the PS3?
I know that there are only 4 tables initially. I figure if I really enjoy them, I will buy the $30 season passes in given time.
I'm definitely not the only person with flipper lag but I have no idea how common it is. There's a demo in the PlayStation store so you should try that first just to make sure. Otherwise if you enjoyed the Wii version you'll definitely enjoy the PS3 version.

The super duper mega patch didn't fix my flipper lag. Glad I dumped the PS3 version for the Steam version for numerous reasons.

That firmware sees a 7800 controller as a two button controller for me in Windows 7. That makes it work with one button games but only with the left button which is fine by me. It's a good compromise.
@HammR25
You'll be my beta tester, since I don't have a 7800 joystick handy.

I played one of the Medieval Madness repros early Sunday morning before it had a line. It looked and played nice but I can't compare it to a regular Medieval Madness machine as I've never played one before. The thing I lusted over was the display Funhouse that looked brand new.

I'll be wearing my yellow Charlie Brown's teacher with a trombone t-shirt today.

For some reason many Oculus Rift backers are pissed that Oculus sold out to facebook.

I'll give you a free Atari 2600 but shipping to Edmonton is $75.

I'm definitely excited since this is about a 10 minute drive up the tollway for me.
-
How crowded are the machines? Is it like going to an amusement park and waiting 30 minutes to ride a ride?
-
Looks like they want to start embedding Ouya into other devices. Makes me wonder if they're looking at smart tvs for this.
-
Yes, I still have both of mine and they work great. I noticed doubledown quit visiting the site sometime in 2009.

-
Looking again I think Logitech is still producing the G27 and the Driving Force GT since those are still on their website but their console controllers are gone. When they got out of the gaming controller market it was for consoles only.
-
They lost $1.1 billion last year, they need to cut expenses wherever they can. Dumping the expense of something that not a whole lot of people use anymore is just good business. I don't blame them at all especially since access to multiplayer is free on the PS3 and it never was on the 360. I don't understand why they're also pulling the DLC but obviously it saves them money somehow or they wouldn't be doing it.
-
Looks like they're removing all GT5 DLC from PSN on April 30th and online play ends May 31st.
-
This doesn't make me want an Xbox One. Mi€ro$o£t would have to shave the price to about $100 because there aren't any games I want yet.

Only cheaters read the manual. Who wants to be considered a cheater?
