  1. Only cheaters read the manual. Who wants to be considered a cheater?
  2. What Greg said is why I didn't mention rFactor 2. It's an awesome driving simulator but not a good racing simulator at this point due to lack of content. If he's not sure he wants to get into hardcore sims he's much better off with rFactor.
  3. GT Legends and GTR2 are both based on the rFactor game engine so I'd recommend getting it as well. rFactor doesn't really come with a whole lot of content but there are tons and tons of free mods that can be downloaded for it.
  4. As long as you get at least $33 of enjoyment out of it that's all that matters.
  5. Looks like someone asked on the Syzygy facebook page and got this response:
  6. If they want everything to be the same for everyone they should just delist everything until they start selling on the Xbox 360 again.
  7. Oh and this is a mind boggling decision for non-iOS platforms. I'm not sure why they would pull out perfectly good working code on other systems because they can't sell season passes on Apple devices. It's like they don't really want our money or they think none of us will really be angry enough not to give in and buy all the tables individually when they're released.
  8. Apple is trying to protect people from unscrupulous "app" sellers who take your money and run because when that happens Apple ends up holding the bag.
  9. This one might not make it either. At least he released a demo.............................................................................................................................. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/wildweasel/chatbox-shamus-from-sloth-to-sleuth
  10. Darn, they cancelled it. I was gonna go back them for $10,000.
  11. I'd forgotten Logitech is dumping their wheels. The reason to not get one of those would be future driver support. I had a Logitech Wingman Formula Force that lasted until I upgraded to Windows 7.
  12. Steam is only worth it because I'm cheap and eventually I can get most things at 75% to 90% off the original price.
  13. The only option I'd skip for sure would be #2. 180 degrees of rotation is terrible and "vibration feedback" is a complete waste of time. The build quality of the Logitech wheels will also be much better. I'm guessing 900 degrees of rotation will be more than you'll want but you will be able to set your wheel to a custom option which is less than the full 900 degrees. If the G27 price makes you cringe then get the Driving Force Pro. Also, h pattern shifters are fun but most real racing cars don't have them anymore and some games do not support them. Also if you play a nascar game you'll spend most of your time in one gear anyway. I have wheel that has a clutch but don't use the clutch because it makes the games more realistic than I want. Oh and on a final note, game developers will be more likely to properly support the Logitech wheels than they will the Hori wheel.
  14. If you hadn't already bought one by now you're better off making some kid happy.

I guess this thread needs a rename to Concerto cart. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/220696-new-harmony-product-harmony-encore/
  16. It claims I haven't played 16 but that's because some of the games also came with the Mac steam version. I also have a couple of games that I got somewhere else that came with Steam keys so I've played them, just not on Steam. I do still have 7 games I haven't played though. Worth: $519.6 Games owned: 40 33 Games not played: 16 7 Percentage: 40% 21% Hours spent: 179.9h
  17. I agree the voice commands are totally cool. They work great at going through them menus in the Forza games. They're also good for trolling on Xbox Live.
  18. These guys didn't just buy up patents. They actually created a product no one really wanted that is kinda similar to a Wii-Fit pad but not really. http://www.ign.com/articles/2006/01/06/ces-2006-exer-station
  19. I don't see what's so great about splitting a mono signal over two outputs.
  20. Microsoft didn't start sending out dev kits to indie developers until December. Most likely Farsight is way down the list. I'd be surprised if they weren't going to develop for the Xbone since they seem to want to develop for every platform they possibly can.
  21. I keep waiting for the news that Edward Snowden leaked documents that show how the NSA paid Microsoft to force the Xbox One to be always online and always Kinect'd but Microsoft finally balked when they found out how much money that was going to cost them in sales instead.
