If you truly felt bad you'd be making boxes and Montgomery Ward price stickers to put on the boxes too.

I'm just happily waiting for Fillpoint (Crave) to emerge from bankruptcy so I can play these tables on the Xbox 360 where they were originally designed to be played. Until then I'll play lots of other games. As for System 3, they were Farsight's European publisher for both the Gottlieb and Williams Pinball Hall of Fame games. If they published The Pinball Arcade on PS3 their name isn't in the credits anywhere and they don't list it on their website like they do the downloadable version of the Williams Collection. System 3 published Ferrari Challenge: Trofeo Pirelli in the US for Eutechnyx so maybe they're the "new publisher" Farsight talked about a long time ago to replace Crave once the bankruptcy is finally completed. Otherwise it makes no sense since they shouldn't need a publisher for the PS4 or Xbox One Eighty.

EA Cancelling NCAA Football next year
HammR25 replied to Tickled_Pink's topic in Modern Console Discussion
The short version is in the US some people get athletic scholarships to attend universities. When they get the athletic scholarship they waive the right to get a job while they're in school and their school and NCAA can use their name and likeness however they want for the rest of time. Back in the day it wasn't such a big deal but now with the billions of dollars in tv contracts that university sports in the US generate it's a bit of a scam. If you want the really really long version it's here: http://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2011/10/the-shame-of-college-sports/308643/ -
This doesn't have anything to do with the actual game logic but with my CC2 and LCD tv the robot shots can be difficult to see until my 7800 has warmed up and they change to the proper brighter colors. The quirkiness of the 7800 strikes again.

This is out today on XBLA. For people who already own the original DX game there is some DLC. Each individual item in my previous post can be had individually for $2 each or $8 for the All-In-One pack.

It doesn't look like they're available for preorder right now. http://www.syzygycompany.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=51

Microsoft needs to die so we can start hating someone else.

Sounds like people should disable the HSC functionality on their CC2s in the menu files if they aren't sure about a specific game.

If a person goes to Xbone.com it redirects to Bing.

I actually found a little more info on the bankruptcy proceedings. Crave is owned by a company called Fillpoint. Fillpoint are the ones who filed for Chapter 11 last August. They were set to come out of bankruptcy last month but then one of their creditors found out Fillpoint's last tenant in the building they own was moving out so they're contesting the current bankruptcy plan. http://www.timesunion.com/search/?action=search&channel=business&search=1&firstRequest=1&query=Fillpoint&x=0&y=0&searchindex=property

Space Sims making a comeback (Chris Roberts)
HammR25 replied to cimerians's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Looks like Star Citizen is up to $18.6 million at the moment. I wonder how far over $20 million they'll end up. Looks like Elite: Dangerous has almost $3 million USD. Yes, space sims are dead. -
You can also rent movies through Amazon and then watch them on your PS3. The prices are a little better than the ones in the PS3 store.

Bushnell reckons Nintendo faces 'path to irrelevance'

If you wait long enough every company fails. -
They were mistaken about self publishing. That's for the Xbox One only. Microsoft has no plans for self publishing on the 360. The publishing rights for the 360 are considered to be an asset for Crave therefore nothing will happen with those rights until they come out of bankruptcy. Once that happens Farsight should be fine. Since they've already got the tables done they'd be fools not to eventually release them. They said they were hoping Crave would be out of bankruptcy soon but I gave up on that a long time ago. It reminds me of waiting for a certain patch for NASCAR Racing 2003 season.

Wii U Deluxe $299 - Bye Bye Basic
HammR25 replied to DaytonaUSA's topic in Modern Console Discussion
I'd consider getting one for $200 with a regular gamepad instead of the tablet. -
Microsoft delisted it because of Farsight's publisher's bankruptcy. It might be back on there some day soon if Microsoft starts letting developers publish without a publisher. Farsight has been told by Microsoft that would start soon.

If I read that correctly if you already own the original DX you'll get "improved leaderboard functionality, in-game achievements and medals" as a free title update and then you'll be able to purchase the following as DLC: This makes me hopeful the DLC will be like $5 for those who have already purchased PCE-DX.

This game is available for preorder on Steam right now. It'll be available on September 25th. I assume it'll be out for the 360 and PS3 the same week. http://store.steampowered.com/app/236450

Many games produced today automatically work with any wired Xbox 360 controller. They'll also work if you get this wireless version that comes with a USB receiver. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004QRKWKQ/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&tag=atariage&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B004QRKWKQ&linkCode=as2 I've bought several games on steam that work just fine with mine. I don't buy first person shooters so it's no problem for me.

He does have an email address on the Trilobyte website though. http://www.trilobyte.com/papers/

These guys are clowns. Hopefully Microsoft isn't too pissed off with Farsight after this: http://www.gamasutra..._next_month.php It's looking more and more like I'll need to get the Steam version if I want all the tables. I'll download the Steam version but only if the base software is free and it comes with something like Arabian Nights free.

You should have asked us a week or two ago when the last Steam sale was going on. Steam has a lot of demos and trailers for games so that's probably the best way to figure out what you may or may not want to buy.
