  1. are there any reliable sellers of these anywhere? I imagine that tons of things were cranked out by the pirate factories. heck I almost wouldn't be surprised if somewhere they were still being cranked out.

    Me! :P

Already traded with several guys here. :D I don't post in AA forum since 2005! But unfortunately there are some years (4 or more) I don't go to flea markets and I have very few items available. :( But if I have something available I would prefer to trade it for something else, not just sell it. ;)

I had a webpage about Brazilian videogames and carts, but I had to move my domain to another registrar and the page is down, I must put it back.

I also love the German/Austrian Atari 2600 labels and the Australian labels too.

    Greetings

    Sergio Charin

  2. A nice big BUMP! I got cash, I want this model. Please hook me up!

It is very rare, but if I have luck to find one spare I'll contact you. I remember the ad on old Donald Duck magazines, the console's plastic in olive-green color is to give a militar look. :)

Easier to find are the Onyx Jr cartridges, they were made with green plastic too. :D

    Best regards,

    Sergio

  3. Man, I have just acquired those carts in a Brazilian auction (see pic). :D  Even here, in Brazil, those are very rare. Totally different from traditional black labels, or even Brown ones, as Sergio kindly put.

I didnt pay cheap for those, could anyone tell me how much it is worth in US? Just curious, guys, give it a shot! I really dont plan to trade or sell those carts, at least not yet! 8)

These carts are from the first serie made by CCE. Thank you a lot for the photo. These carts are very rare too, except for the Mr. Postman (C-801) with green label which is just scarce.

  4. From your list, the CCE carts harder to find locally (in Brazil) are Pizza Chef and Radar. I don't know about CCE's Space Tunnel, but it looks to be not so common. Frogger, Crackpots and Bobby is Going Home carts seems to be much easier to find.

The really rare CCE carts are the ones with yellow label (C-10## series), like this one (image from my site):

    Best regards,

    Sergio

What do collectors in US think about CCE (Brazilian cartridges) for the 2600? Some say it's rare (like AtariGuide - is it reliable??), some say not 'so' rare...

Anyway, I have the following lot, and wonder how much is it worth, internationally (numbers indicate rarity according to AtariGuide):

    A Misterious Thief (7.5)

    Pizza Chef (unknown)

    Boom Bang (5)

    Crackpots (5)

    Frogger (5)

    Radar (5)

    Space Tunnel (6)

    Bobby is Going Home (5)

  5. My favorites, in no particular order:

    Atari 2600

    Colecovision

    Intellivision

    MSX and MSX2

    Commodore 64

    ZX Spectrum

    PC Engine / TG16

    Sega Saturn

    Mega Drive

Nokia N-Gage (my newest gaming system)

N-Gage has no much good games, but it has nice features for the price. Missing an Atari emulator for it. :D

MSX is pratically unknown in the US, has a lot great games like the original Metal Gear.

  6. Just so everyone knows, you can mod a PAL-M console for A/V out and it will display in colour.  (I have a Dactar console with said mod, works beautifully)

The quality of RF output of the Milmar Memory Game is impressive when compared to the Atari 2600. It is very close to the quality of my Atari 2600 Polyvox with A/V mod. When I get some spare time I'll try to mod the Memory Game, it would be cool to have a plug-and-play Atari with built-in games. :)

  7. I'm clearing out some stuff I have. :)

  8. Great job on the site! I would run into strange consoles every now and then when I lived in Minas, but I wasn't able to bring anything back with me. Perhaps next time I'm down there I'll be able to pick up some Brazilian carts.  8)

Continue com o bom trabalho aí!  :)

    Great site!  :D

Esse é o embrião de um guia de raridade no padrão AA. Se precisar de alguma ajuda (fotos, scans, textos, etc.) avise-me!

Thank you guys. Any help is welcome, specially scans of articles of Brazilian magazines and newspapers of that time.

    Best regards,

    Sergio
