  1. which emu dumps to Avi btw? And the Musuem is one in Manchester (where they used to house the Lowry paintings) already on display are the original Star Wars coin op (sitdown!) and original Space Invaders coin op. Im working on the Atari part/handhelds. Thanks SS!!! the mp3 was spot on. Lee
  2. Hi all, Im doing a piece on classic gaming for my local museum and guess what,The Atari going on display in there! But i need some help, could anyone show me the way to some Atari videos showing games playing as that would look fantastic on display (or how could I make my own using an emulator). Also I need an mp3 of Pitfall II for it. Could anyone help me out?? Lee
  3. things Atari fans never say "Adventure is just a block moving, not a hero" "yes, love just one more game before bed" "I real wish (insert game here) would have come out on the 2600" "I look really cool in my Atari shirt" "I wish I could grow up" "my god, whats this hot thing called the sun, and whats this...Girls?" just a bit of fun Lee
  4. after all this ive found a small switch on the board that puts it in settings mode..grrrrr. all my time wasted looking for a manual and its there all the time, on the bloody board! at least now ive reset the scores (and..yippee..they now save when the machine is switched off, my first jamma board that does this) its a fun bashing time ahead! Lee

Star Destroyer opening seqence 2/The Falcon going into hyperspace 3/The fly by of the X wings armada in Star Wars Sp.Edition 4/blowing up of the death star Would look ace on a cart! Great idea BTW, and would be great to view the final product..whatever it will be Lee

  8. Can anyone help me with the dipswitches for Atari Pitfighter that Ive just got? any website that could help me with the setting/copy of manual. Thanks in advance Chaps! Lee
  9. yeah! well done mat! I got most of my 7800 games sealed from Makro, would you believe for 2p each 7 years ago (bought a trollyfull), sold em recently for more obviously Lee
  10. Im a big fan of the arcade version of Gyruss, I admire the 2600 version as it was limited by the machine host but the C64 version is better. The 2600 game is all there, and is shit hot and is a fantastic conversion but if you put the 2600 and c64 version side by side..well come on let be realistic Lee
  11. Gyruss a prototype? No sorry mate, that was released. I think Parker's version is very good including the music Lee
  12. Manuel, as you know, Ive been looking forward to this and its really great and a fantastic conversion plus more! Plus points. 1:Music is just right and fitting 2:Title screen is bangon 3:Great controls 4:Neat effects (Death screen is well done) 5:Just right gameplay Ive just had 10mins on it here and its just the conversion of StarFire (always a game that brings a tear to my eye) ive always wanted...cheers!!! Lee

  16. whats the prototype release you play the most? I love to play a bit Lord of the rings and thats good fun (in an Adventure sort of way) Lee
  17. well they did it with the Lord of the Rings prototype, so will we ever see anything of this fabled Parker game, I hope so anyone know any details of this game? Lee
  18. Activision did hold the rights to a Transformers games, but that was in 1986-designed by David Crane and released on the Commodore 64....and it was terrible Lee
  19. thats great! Im a big fan of Ewok Adventure (see me avitar) but that shot is great! Lee
  20. I would of like to have seen the old Atari tackle The Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones. Lee
  21. http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/doctorwho/episod...ide/index.shtml I never was a big fan of Dr.Who, but it had its moments. Lee
  22. this tppic just shows we are all around the same age (well, being fans of Atari and all) Nobodys mentioned any of the other Doctors as Tom Baker was the one around in the 70s, so hes the one we all grew up with (and he was the best too) Lee
  23. Nice Manuel. When is the 2600 version of StarFire ready, looks like its going to be great I wonder if you could put those ships in as easter eggs? That would be cool. birdie3:Dr.Who series died many moons ago when the BBC pulled the plug on it, it tried a comeback in an american funded/type rehash but didnt get the viewing figures it should have. So as for now Dr.Who is in limbo. Lee
  24. forgive me if im wrong, but didnt lucas have the licence for all Star Wars products (20th cent.fox thought them to be worthless). Didnt he have a say in what was produced? there might be some truth in that though. Lee
