BTW the speech on z26 is pretty spot on here Lee

Im really impressed..really. The voice is so good, the new colour-cycle title screen is great and the whole package makes the already brilliant Berzerk even better. A great achivement and the programmer has done so well. Thank you, thank you thank you! Lee

Mat, did you really pay all that money on ebay for that game (+patch!)? Wow! I think the highest ive ever paid for a game is missle command, boxed for £10!! Lee
-
hey, i love Frostbite, that me in the review praising it! Seriously though, the site has come from comments from all corners such as C64 fans "Outrun is better than that comment", Sinclair Spectrum fans "Uridium review...pah!" and even arcade fans "paperboy is a classic, Lee you just dont know!" I really do love debate, its hard to get all three reviews to agree on one title that should get a "PeeknPoke gold" award, only 2 have so far (the crusty Space Taxi and the arcade ace game, Rally X) Im just waited for the atari game we all agree on Regards and thanks Lee

Manuel ooohhhhhh good stuff, im gonna try those versions in a min. I would love to see the final version, im sure all us 2600 players would, BTW I loved Gunfight!, good fun indeed http://peeknpoke.emuunlim.com/pnpgunfight.html Thanks for the hard work! Lee

Did anyone like me think that Star Fire WAS a Star Wars game when they were kids? My brother and I used to love playing the cockpit version of Star Fire but because it looked so much like SW, for years later, I thought it was! It has a little window in the back of the cabinet so people could watch as you played, It was a great game Does also anyone know if this now works in MAME? There were a few troubles with it working in the past (I havent downloaded a new MAME in years) Lee

http://www.atariage.com/development_page.h...evelopmentID=32 Whats the current standing on the project? I would love to do an inproduction news feature on my site. I loved the original arcade game and would really like to see this 2600 version finished Lee

Dont know if anyone remember me asking for help with reviews a while ago, but now ive got a superb little team together and they currently are playing lots more 2600 games for reviews Current reviews: http://peeknpoke.emuunlim.com/pnpREVIEWFROSTBITE.html http://peeknpoke.emuunlim.com/pnpREVIEWSKYJINKS.html plus lots more for other systems What would be great if the programmers of some 2600 homebrew games would like to get in touch with me, if they would like their games reviews by the "boys" via emulation. (Doesnt matter if the game has been out a while) That would make good reading! Regards Lee

Is there going to be a release of the rom for the new Berzerk hack? I would love to see and play it as the original was great fun. Id would buy the new cart if I had the money and I COULD get hold of a copy Thanks in advance Lee

I know the arcade, its a great place. I played Pole Position II there and it was in good nick. Lee

I think it was used to make the geeky guy look more "geeky", no offence all The Atari t-shirt was ditched when he became cool and dated that fat girl later in the film. When i watched the film, all my mates laughed and pointed at me just because he was wearing that shirt! Lee

Jr. Pacman is indeed great but very hard. Lee

well with Miles thats six (Miles email me to join the mailing list and for more information) Anyone who does work on any review will have a review face for each game (A good, bad and middle reaction face)..see the new reviews for more information. Anyone with access to a digital camera can have a drawing of themselfs with each review(using a nifty piece of software that turns the photo into a pencil drawing)...akin to an old UK magazine called Zzap!64. plus there will be a lowdown on the reviewers on a reviews page BTW Chris there are comic strips on my site I guess they work eh? Lee[/img]

Funny enough Chris, I would have agreed with you yesterday but since posting here and another place, Ive had 5 offers of review help. Ive told them that its not going to be time consuming (only for me), I only require about 6 sentences per game on why its good, bad or just plain and an overall score out of 10. If this works, and i think it will, it makes people want to go and play the game (I mean good reviewers on various websites have made me boot up my emulators and see what the fuss it about-so it works) Thanks anyway Lee

Reviewers wanted! In an expanded part of my website, PeeknPoke. Id love a few people to come on board with me to review some software (maybe 2 comments per review?) for the Atari 2600, plus the c64, Arcade and Spectrum (the other machines the site covers) have your face in lights LoL To have a look at what im aiming for, have a look at a few of the new reviews over at PeeknPoke. Please email me at if you want to take part Lee

I mean i loved Ewok Adventure (if it wasnt for the bad control), Elevator action was well overated, and even (god forbid) got a little bit of fun out of Tempest. Where's Snow white (just seen the new pics here on Atari-age..when did those appear?..does someone have the rom?) and Charlie Brown. Does anyone have a list of undumped games? Lee
-
I must be the only one who enjoys a quick game of Jedi Arena Shame that its not too bad. I also loved Death star battle which was fun and had some great fx in it. Lee
-
I like E.T. (using the smaller pits hack is better) I hated the atari version of Donkey Kong, two levels, pah! and that token sound FX, urh! Pacman was terrible, but thats too obvious. MASH was a wierd one my mate once bought..like wheres the comedy? Lee
-
going back to the DC version of Atari aniversery, Anyone in the UK should check out the shops of "Game" where in the sales are selling the PC versions of Atari arcade hits 1+2 for only £2.50 each! (the 2 packs are the same as aniversery edition but seperate) Barg! Lee
-
Got my name in classic UK c64 magazine, Zzap!64 about games not playing as they used to be and wheres the old magic gone?-And that was in 1989! LoL Lee
-
Funny that I met Jeff Minter at the Back in Time event in the UK and he signed my c64 tape version of "Attack" as "I nicked this idea from Empire Strikes Back on the VCS" which he did Crazy but cool man!
-
what about Return of the Jedi eath star battle-When flying thru the shield? That effect was sure magic for the time (An effect bigger computers had trouble with at the time) LEE

I was in Edge's 100 issue. Holding a C64 above my head....sigh Lee
