I'm not really a collector, in the sense of trying to collect everything for a given system. I just enjoy good games. I do buy complete in box items exclusively, though. The systems I collect for are: Atari's line of 8-bit computers, plus their 2600 and 5200; Mattel's Intellivision; and Coleco's ColecoVision. I also have a Playstation 2, a Wii U, and a 3DS, but I don't really collect for them. Outside of video gaming, I enjoy theme parks, watching movies, playing tabletop board games and RPGs, and reading science fiction and fantasy books.

  1. Video games are a fad. You'll get tired of those bleep, bleep, bloop, bloop games before long.

No... I love bleep bloops they are the best!

Those bleeps and bloops got a lot more sophisticated since then

One of the more uplifting songs I can think of.

  3. If it's a fun game, it's all good.
  4. Adventure 2000, with game design by Warren Robinette. (Every Atari console should have an Adventure game by Warren Robinette.)
  5. Slowly, slowly learning the new system. It's starting to be not-frustrating!

  6. ♫ I'll sit around and drink a few more beers
    Until the memory just disappears
'Cause you ain't worth the salt in my tears ♫

  7. I recently discovered One-Punch Man. Brilliant! Kinda wish I'd have discovered it ten years ago, but also kinda happy I can enjoy it new right now.

  8. Great job! I'm looking forward to seeing the boxed cartridge for sale in the store.
  9. I am interested in a cart as well.
  10. Personally, there are very few arcade ports I'd be interested in that came out after about 1985/86.
  11. I'm really enjoying Horizon Chase Turbo on Steam. It has everything I enjoy about racing games, and nothing I don't. Great stuff.

Yeah, making those pickups can be a real challenge. Sometimes I think it would be nice to be able to disable that feature!

I also noticed that one of the tracks in Brazil (I think) straight-up has a remix of music from Top Gear 2.

They say new features and modes are coming soon.

  12. I'd definitely buy one that was in excellent condition, but have no desire to own 50 of them.
  13. The only pong console we had was the Telstar Arcade, but my parents bought that for me in 1978. That was fun for about six months, but then the variations on the pong, driving, and shooting games lost their appeal.
