I'm not really a collector, in the sense of trying to collect everything for a given system. I just enjoy good games. I do buy complete in box items exclusively, though. The systems I collect for are: Atari's line of 8-bit computers, plus their 2600 and 5200; Mattel's Intellivision; and Coleco's ColecoVision. I also have a Playstation 2, a Wii U, and a 3DS, but I don't really collect for them. Outside of video gaming, I enjoy theme parks, watching movies, playing tabletop board games and RPGs, and reading science fiction and fantasy books.

  1. After 16 years, I'm switching from Mac back to Linux. Apple just isn't interested in earning my money any more, and hasn't been for years.

I'm typing this from a silly Acer netbook from eBay, cheap because it didn't have an OS on it. Linux solved that, but I wish the screen were better. Once we can get nice trackpads (Apple's are still the best) and good IPS screens for this kind of money, I'll be on Linux more than ever.

I'm on an Acer netbook too! I bought mine @ walmart when my PC died, so I could still see ebay, emails, and the stock market... before I bought another PC.

Yeah, Linux or any OS is a lot nicer with at least a 1,900 x 1,000 screen. Computer hardware is so cheap, and you only live once. Once you have a decent screen, you can never go back. The Toshiba Chromebook 2 I owned had the best screen I've ever had. It was only $140. My $52 Lenovo N23 CB I have now has an OK screen -- not as good as the Toshiba's.
