  1. That's pretty darned awesome!

     

    One question, though -- when I run it in Stella, holding the joystick in a direction doesn't make your character keep moving in that direction. You have to keep nudging the stick in the direction you want to go. Is that what you intended?

  3. Star Raiders is definitely one I'd buy the hardware to play if I didn't already have it. In fact, I have both an A8 and a 5200 so I can enjoy both versions of the game. It's a never-gets-old game for me, as well as a must have.

     

    Same for Intellivision's AD&D Cloudy Mountain. That's another game I can happily play again and again, enjoying the challenge of it every single time.

  4. First arcade favorite that I can recall was Asteroids. Before that, I played a number of the great B&W games over the years, but none was what I'd call a favorite at the time, until Asteroids. That was, I believe, the first game I'd ask my parents to drive me somewhere so I could play it (versus just playing a video game because we were somewhere that had them, such as a pizza parlor).
