I think those ridiculous VGA examples on ebay simply serve to raise the prices of games from smaller vendors...(In varying amounts)...

I think it's a subtle psychological effect...If people see high prices enough, they assume the game is worth more. Truth is, in the end a game is "worth" what someone is willing to pay.

Does anyone grade consoles? Certainly classic computers with all their parts and keyboards and capacitors and sockets..all could use an official exam prior to buying.

Frankly, I'm glad whenever someone thinks C64. Usually retro gaming only involves Nintendo, possibly Sega and Sony consoles.

No such thing as a free lunch, you're paying for it one way AND another - taxes duh!

Paying a lot less, though... and paying in a predictable, consistent way, not getting whacked with a huge, unexpected bill.

We are going to get one of those bills very soon as someone in the family was never admitted but only held for overnight observation. Makes a big difference in what you owe out of pocket.
