...Poor guy was just making a point, didnt sound like he was arguing about anything to me...

Yeah, that would all be perfect. If you know any programmers that would be willing to help us out, try to get in touch with them if you can. I dont think these posts have been getting much reading. (from everyone but us) The only trouble is, finding a programmer who is not busy making theyre own games. But Im sure there is bound to be one who is interested enough in the idea it will soon become one of his (and our) new game. Also, when we pick games, (if we ever get far enough with the project) we should pick ones with long play ability as well as a just plain bad game. Like E.T. would be perfect, and I think Custers Revenge would be too, I have never played Karate yet, but I will today, just to see what its like.

Glad to hear you guys like them, and Albert, thanks a million for the great coverage! Hopefully these will be a big hit!

lol, woops, sorry for the double post.

I think Mystery Science Atari 2600, would work fine! Thanks for the help, I didnt really know what I should call it, because MST2600 was taken so I was just using MST2600: The Series for a sort of "pre-production" name anyway. But as a bit of bad news, the programmer guy I know, The Len, cant do it, he said he is also too busy at the time being. So any programmers out there, please take some consideration.

Yes, please help programmers! I emailed one programmer I know to see if he will help I also would like to see if Tim Snider would like to be involved, when not busy, since if not for him I probably wouldnt of had this idea. I decided to call it Mystery Science Theater 2600 The Series. Since I figured we could make a couple of these, for example MST2600: Custers Revenge
MST2600: Chase the Chuckwagon
MST2600: Karate
ect.
That is if they are remotely easy to program, if they are too difficult we might only make one or two. But hopefully we can find programmers to do this. I keep wondering if maybe this post is invisibe to everyone except me and you, Atari King, lol. Well except Cafemans rather negative comment... But hey constructive critisism does help, they say. But I think this game will rule if made. SO PROGRAMMERS PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD REPLY!
...Thank you...

Does the Jr. have the controller ports on the front or back? I havent actually seen a Jr. in "person" in quite a while. I have a six switch, and the most obnoxious thing is the controller ports being on the back... Why did they put them together like that? Its so out of place. (Maybe because I am used to Dreamcast, Nintendo, ect.)

On another note, King Atari, if this was made, I would hire you to help me with the game riffs. But what awful games would be good to riff on?
-
Yeah, see Programmers, even the KING OF ATARI reccomends my idea! lol
As for The Ghoul, you have a point, never thought of that... I think I will do that!
-
Sorry for the misprint, havent seen that skit in a few years.
-
There goes me watching it, Sunday, 1:00... Man, The only way Ill be able to watch it is when we dont have school on Mondays or during the Summer.
But anywho, GhoulPower!
P.S.
Any programmers who have read my first message, and idea, please take STRONG STRONG STRONG CONSIDERATION OF IT, you would be creating the best game in the history of 2600, (in my opinion... And Im sure a few others) If you would like to consult it with me, please email me at [email protected]

Oh no... Now look what you guys have started... lol

Hey, (Ironicaly) our dish just updated the local channel thing today, so I now get channel 55! So I finally get to watch to Ghoul! What day and time is it on?
Thats wierd that I mentioned not having it, then the same day my dad finds out that we just got it... Uncanney... But totally cool!

Yep, thats the picture, lol!
-
AAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWW, LOL, dont even go there, man! Thats sick... But I did see this picture of this super hot chick, licking a standard 2600 joystick once.... That was sort of a turn on. If anyones got that picture, post it! LOL

Man it sucks, I got a dish and cant get channel 55, so I cant get to see The Ghoul! I watched it a couple of times when I could manage to get it in with some rabbit ears on this old T.V. I used to have in my room, but I have to rely on my dad telling me about how great the Ghoul is, lol. But with the dish service we can get 3, 5, and 8. and channel 43. But thats it. It sucks. I did find a book on Ghoulardi and the Ghoul once and read that though.

lol, good point! Have any of you guys had the pain and suffering of also, having to "pretend" to play those arcade games? Now in my opinion that is even worse than getting my finger jammed... Luckily now I learned to save my lunch money and search the washing machine and couches well... So I dont have that problem anymore...
((my parents...love them dearly, but they are extreme...Tight-Wads...))

woah, sorry about that, I hit the Back button and on accident a second one of these came up. Sorry about that.

This story maybe un-important, but I just figured I would share this past early childhood trauma with you.
Once when I was very little (about 4 or 5) I was at an arcade, and they had a bowling game, with a Trak-Ball. I dont remember what it was called, I was very small... But I wasnt even going to play the game. Actually I dont think I was allowed to play the game. I always remember being at Chuckie-Cheese and places like that but I always remember my parents saying, "Arcades are a waste of money!" So I was only allowed to play the games for tickets and stuff. So as a sad child, I would go up to games and... (really embarrassing) I would pretend I was playing the arcade game... So anyway, I was "playing" a bowling game and rolling the trak-ball thing around, and with a *snap* The flesh of my finger got jammed in the corner of the Trak-Ball, I shrieked and my finger bled a little, then I tried it again, another jam. I stayed clear of that for a while... So anyway, ever since then, no matter how much I try my fingers always get caught in those darn things! Even just recently I was playing Centipede at a Rolling Skating Rinc, and my finger got jammed AGAIN! Agh! Thats why I stay clear of those, but despite that... I still want to get a Trak-Ball for my VCS...

Texas Chainsaw Massacre, thats a pretty cool game. I also believe its liberals who cause this censorship. I am against it, because I think its freedom of expression.
