Texas Chainsaw Massacre, thats a pretty cool game. I also believe its liberals who cause this censorship. I am against it, because I think its freedom of expression.

Yep, I live near Mansfield and Ashland. I have never gotten the chance to actually see a KTMA episode yet. I always wanted to, I need to buy one somewhere or something, I have the opening of one I downloaded off of Morpheus though. I thought it looked pretty cool. I like that local T.V. look too, lol. Like Big Chuck & Lil' John? lol I just wish I could buy the rights to MST3K and make a local spin off legally. I would LOVE to make that show for a living. -

The rare parts I couldnt find, I just replaced with "look alike parts" My Crow looks like the KTMA episodes Crow, with only one set of Tupperware Florier. And the catchers mask, was a real catchers mask, that I sawed up to make it look like the original, and painted it gold. The soap dish, I made myself with some plastic, and I cut and shaped it. (The plastic was from a left over bowling pin.) The final completed version only cost me about 15 bucks. And it looks almost just like the real deal. The only real hard part was building the mouth. And for the game, I hope someday this idea comes true, I also think it would rule. So if any programmers out there want to make Atari/MST3K history, please consider this. lol, -

Oh yeah, Im a HUGE fan, I got a replica robot of Crow that I made and everything. I even make my own fan film spin offs of them. Mystery Science Theater 4000 Some may say my series is a rip off... It is... But they sure are fun to make! I wish someone could make this idea though, it would be the best game ever, in my opinion. -
Is sentinel pretty rare then?

Hey everyone! Since I finally got a 2600, I only have had one problem. I only have 6 games, which are RealSports Soccer, which is probably the best game I have, even though I am not a big fan of sports games. Space Invaders, not a big fan of side to side shooters. RealSports Tennis, this one is allright. Double Dunk, I honestly say this game sucks. Defender II, truthfully not as good as the first. And last but least, Sentinel, this game is beyond me, cant figure out what to do... So anyone have any good reccomendations of games that you think I would like? I like games like Super Breakout, Berzerk, both TRON games, and Warlords. (used to have Warlords, probably somewhere in my house but I cant find it anywhere...) I dont like the side to side shooters like Space Invaders, probably one of my favorites is Asteroids. So if you guys got any suggestions let me know. P.S. I love paddle games, especially multiplayer ones.

Well I do have an emulator, thats what I have been playing the last couple of years untill I finally got my real VCS. Im not real new to the games, but by which games to reccomend I meant games that were good, and easy to get the carts, and stuff I had never thought to try before. Sorry I should have stated that. But I havent played alot of the games mentioned and I will try them. The reason I didnt like double dunk was because it was pretty choppy and confusing. I dont know, I guess if I sat down and played it a while I might get used to it, but I am just not a big 2600 sports fan. I have played Adventure before, its not the best I have played before, I thought it was pretty dull and I kept losing my sword, and other items in the walls...

If anyone wants to tackle this little project, let me know. Probably take some good programming though. -
I have been having this reoccurring idea for a type of MST3K 2600 game. I love the MST3K hack for the 2600 but I felt quite alone without having Mike Nelson, (and or Joel Robinson) Crow, and Tom Servo. So had this idea, thats probably pretty impossible, but it consists of the worst games ever made, and adding Mike and the bots at the bottom of the screen. Then whenever you play it, they make comments that come up in talk bubbles. Once in a while they point to the screen and move too, when you reach ceartain parts of the screen or get a ceartain ammount of points. I know its probably impossible but I think it would be incredibly fun and funny.

What is YOUR favorite 2600 game? (..read me..)
Uncle Duke replied to Uncle Duke's topic in Atari 2600
You can have more than one if you want. I honestly though cant find anything real addictive about Adventure, so many people love it, I thought it was frustrating. I always kept losing the items in between walls and stuff and couldnt get them back lol. -
I have an old recorded from T.V. copy of the SNL Film Fest from probably mid 80's with Siskel and Ebert. And there is a short film about Arcades, it looked like it was made at about the heart of Arcade Gaming and about when the 2600 came out. Its hillarious, its about Video Game Junkies, who are like 10 years old. It shows lots of old arcades and stuff in it, its pretty cool. My favorite part is when this doctor is treating a little girl for being a video game junkie. The little girl is real pale and the doctor guy asks her what her favorite arcade game is and she says Ms. Pac-Man and he shows her to an arcade machine of it, and he gives her a quarter. She puts the quarter in and goes to the control panel to play it and it shocks the hell out of her! The doctor keeps saying, "GO ON! PLAY IT SOME MORE!!!" and she keeps getting shocked and she's screaming and stuff. lol. It also shows this little girl on the street corner, "earning quarters, the hard way... one quarter at a time..." lol

Woah... I never thought about the Pac-Man thing... ... But I am getting another Atari and a bunch of games and stuff, controllers, the works from some dude for a $5.00 Dreamcast Browser. Only took me two days of starving to get! And he said it works perfect. And my ten dollar six switch works better than perfect too! I have gotten soooo lucky lately! If Pac-Man heard that he would forget about me starving... Besides if I faint during school, they will let me go home. and I still eat at home! But thanks for caring!

Good news, the dude at Hozer Video told me to send in em' all and he will try them and put them all on. P.S. Im a big Floydian myself.

I was wondering what exactly everyones alltime favorite Atari 2600 game. Personally mine is probably Asteroids. I also love Yellow Submarine. Which hasnt come out yet, because I made it... Dont mean to sound to full of myself but but I like the original version of the game too, but I cant help but like mine better. (Yellow Sub. is a hack of Bermuda Triangle) I was just interested to know what all your favorite games are.

Cant find an RF switch for my 2600 ANYWHERE! SOMEONE HELP!
Uncle Duke replied to Uncle Duke's topic in Atari 2600
They didnt have the Phono thing, but luckily I found an RF switch that works. But then we got home and realized we didnt have a cable thing for it that we needed. (notice the "thing"'s, I cant describe technical "things" very good. lol) So my dad rigged something up to it and finally hooked it up. And then time for the test. I was sweating because on the outside of the system, before I cleaned it up, it looked like it had went through a tornado. So I didnt know if it worked. So we flipped the switch and it came on perfect! No problems at all with it. It works like a dream! I am so happy I finally got an Atari 2600! But now all I need are some good games. All I have are some dull sports games, Defender II, which I dont like as much as the first, and Space Invaders, which isnt my alltime favorite either. And I got a game called Sentinal... But I cant figure out how to play it... It makes no sense, so now, if anyone knows how to play Sentinal, let me know. -
I wouldnt mind you doing one for THX-1138. I do my own mostly. I too, am not too fond of the Hozer Generic labels. The only requirments for the label for that one would be that it looks somewhat retro, like the old label designs originally used. And leave space at the bottom of the label for me to put on the Hozer Video and Pyramid Studios symbols. Send any versions to me at [email protected] And as for the free copy, I will have Hozer send one of the copies to you. If They accept the game that is and give me two free copies, one for me, one for you.

Hey everyone, I have finished my small series of hacks and I just wanted to let everyone know what they were. So you can post which ones you like and which ones you do not like, (title-wise). War of the Worlds -Hack: Defender Based on the book by H.G. Wells, and the special effects pioneer film, you must destroy any of the invaders from Mars in an experimental Government helecopter. Most of you allready know about this one, the first to be released, still waiting for it to show up on Hozer and AtariAge, though. Pink Floyd Adventure -Hack: Adventures of TRON As Pink Floyd, you have stumbled into insanity, (Behind the Wall) and you must now escape. Being chased by marching hammers, flying bricks, and many other insane visions of the subconsious... Rambo in Afghanistan -Hack: Riddle of the Sphinx Rambo has faced many challenges but is now on the hunt for Bin-Laden and terrorist forces. Rambo is ticked off and someone is going to pay dearly... THX-1138 -Hack: Berzerk Deep in the future, underground, is a Utopian society. As a labor worker, (THX-1138) you must escape the underground city, and kill the Android Police officers you encounter, but if you take too long to escape quickly, robot officers on motorcycles will quickly take you down, so be alert... Yellow Submarine -Hack: Bermuda Triangle The Beatles must get to PepperLand to stop the dreaded Blue Meanies. You must travel the Sea of Green and kill any Strange Monsters you encounter, in your Yellow Submarine. Thats it for now, I havent released any, except to a few people, to review the games before I give them to Hozer or AtariAge.

I finally after weeks of starving to death got a good old Atari VCS. But now I have run into a snag. After the waiting to get home from school, and finally setting it up I realized it had no RF switch with it. So I said, oh well, my dad usually has 20 of them stored somewhere. And my dad said it takes an older version, we used to have. So we searched and searched and could not find it ANYWHERE. So we went to Wal-Mart praying to God, that they would have 20 year old RF Switches. None. So I was wondering if maybe they would have one at Radio Shack? I am thinking of going there today. If not that is there any way to rig it up some other way??? I know there probably isnt a way to rig it, but hey, you never know... Also, does the VCS make any noise when it comes on or is it totally silent? Im also praying to get the RF switch fast so I can atually test this VCS. I turned it on just to see if it worked and it just was completely silent. I know the power cord thing, works because when I plug it into the VCS it makes a tiny little spark. (Probably shouldnt be doing that, but I wanted to see if it was the cord...) So please let me know if there are any places to find an old RF switch. Keep in mind I live in an area of surrounding rural towns and we have few appliance shops. (Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Radio Shack... Thats it... No mall either.) PLEASE RESPOND SOON!

I just bought a six switch woodgrain atari vcs. I was wondering how rare these are. I am not too smart about the whole rarity thing on the systems. But I was just wondering.

I had a job once... For a week... Then I got fired for basically sleeping on the job. And just leaving whenever I felt like it... I also worked as a migrant worker once, picking strawberries. I quit after a day. I am not cut out for work. Especially outdoors work. And as for cutting lawns... Trust me, it just wouldnt work...
