    Svenskar??

  3. thanks for all you support so far I still have 3-4 Intellivision games in mind - which will be published in the future (if CollectorVision are interested) If have 3 intellivision games in WIP No more details from now. Thanks again
  4. Yes still a Dane, Danish Passport, Danish Work, Danish Driving license but living in Sweden since 2006 - I think we will get the mail the same day, the Swedish Post service is quite good so am sure there is no delay from South (where I live) to middle or just under middle Sweden where carlsson is located Anyway compare to USA and Canada we are just a very small country

    Svenskar??

  6. You are right - I used to own a copy of Minefield back in the days, it was included with my mtx512, and it was the one with white letters, without the hyphen. Dont know why they have different versions. The same goes for other MTX game tape-covers
  7. Hi. Thanks for the support so far A few answers My first name is Claus - which is a quite common name here. Living in Sweden (IKEA, Volvo, Abba etc) - I am Danish (Lego, The little mermaid, H.C Andersen, High Tax Pressure etc) About "MINE-FIELD" the original tape artwork displays the game title as "MINE-FIELD" with the "-", I dont know if it was wrong at the time, but the original game was produced in England. I just wanted the title screen to look like the box artwork. Maybe its different in UK english than American english ?
  8. if you want to mod your colecovision to have rgb output I think it might be easier to look what people did on Memotech and MSX, they use same VDP by the way Some people said the TMS9918 dont output RGB, so another kind of ic have to help to convert to RGB. The TMS9928 do have RGB output on the VDP. I just read it somewhere dont know if its right. But maybe its better to go for the HDMI mod ?
  9. I live in Sweden, and using a US NTSC ColecoVision. It works ok on the old CRT 14" I use for it. I did mod it with a Composite av out and with a new powerswitch. I use a 100w 230v->110v converter. As people said you can run games from NTSC/PAL games on any ColecoVision, but there is something to keep in mind. NTSC hardware can do less things between interrupts than the PAL does. When I converted SASA, it actually had a prototype running on a PAL ColecoVision, no problems, but at the NTSC ColecoVision we saw problems, cause there was to many z80 cycles between the interrupts. The NTSC interrupts 60 times a second when the PAL does 50 times a second. So in real it means a PAL ColecoVision can have more z80 cycles between interrupts than a NTSC can. For SASA it was shown as slow downs in the UFO stage. For SASA it simply did not have time enough (cycles enough) between interrupts to convert the MSX sound to CV sound, on a NTSC ColecoVision. So that is one of the reasons its released as a SGM game only.
  10. I am quite sure there are a english manual for the game too ? I have played the game for MSX in the past, quite good game good luck.
  11. I think the game is its final test stage right now
  12. i will get back with pictures later I hope I can repair it, since I really want to tell me son what PONG is
  13. Hi. I wanted to show my son (age and wife about early Computer game history, and took my Pong Gamatic 7600 from the Basement, and start to connect it to the tv, my wife said it smells like burning, and she was right - Last time I used the game was 15+ year ago, and it worked great. It seems like a big resistor is burned out. I cant see what value it have. The caps looks good but again they might be out of specs. since the game is from the 70's i guess. Previous I have repaired a Humax Satelite box (PSU), cause the resistor also burned, in that case you had to change a CAP, a Z Diod and the burned out Resistor. Wonder if its the same here, I see a cap and a Z Diod near the burnedout resistor.
  14. I dont know if i am right, but could it be this one ?
  15. hehe if just Collectorvision knows which one you open and which one you keep unopened, they just put an old Donkey Kong cartridge inside the box which you dont open :) :) :)
  16. have been watching youtube videos, it looks like the sg-1000 version is called Hangon-II and the MSX version is called Hangon. It looks like the same game, but the MSX version have more flickering sprites? So I guess its ported from the SG-1000 version?
  17. I dont have anything to do with the HANG-ON II port, but I would prefer to port from SG-1000 cause no need to deal with the sound conversion
  18. Thanks for the help, soldered every pin again on the sockets for u18 and u19, and added a bit more solder to some of them, and now it works!
  19. hi i checket the voltages as you said above. I tried to exchange the ic's same result. I get 2.5v on the pins you explain above. whats next?
  20. i will try to check the ic's they are brand new, and the controllers work on another board.
  21. Its like controller FC always have this bit pattern 11111100 no madder what, both reading from port 80 and c0, so the game think joystick is pressed up and right. and the key "3" is pressed. So during development i am forced to use only FF joypad. :(
  22. My CV setup, primary use is Development so case never closed also cause my development cartridge cant be there if case is closed http://mtxworld.dk/images/coleco.jpg (dont know why but if attach the jpg to the post its upside down?!)
  23. Hi, cause of problem with my cv, i changed back to my old faulty CV board, it works but one controller is faulty. I did change both controller ic's without any good result. Its the default controller that dont work, so most games autostart cause they think a number key is pressed. screenshot in a few minutes.
