Session 5: Memory Architecture
lbaeza replied to Andrew Davie's topic in 2600 Programming For Newbies
Hey! I'm in! I find the course very good, it even makes me want to start coding on the 2600 (!) Only thing I am missing is pictures (drawings, schemas, pics) to make things even more understandable. BTW, I found a very interesting link about how TV works, and I'd like to share it with the class: http://www.howstuffworks.com/tv.htm Regards PS: Andrew, any possibility to make a webpage with this course? Maybe hosted by AA? -
CPUWIZ The switch can be set to only one of the following positions: Normal, 16 or 32 (as stated by the label on it). What could 16 and 32 mean? How should I use it? Regards

OK Thanks for the replies gang. Here where I live Coleco and ADAM were totally unknown. Everything was Atari or Sinclair or Commodore (In that preference order). BTW Do these controls work OK with my Ataris? Regards

...and they have nothing to do with 2732s. Right?

This set of chips came from Bangkok, as the former owner told me. They came with a cart with two sockets (Some games require 2 chips) where you put the chips. Then you use a select switch (I have no idea what this is for), and then you plug it in your VCS. I'll try to post some pics of the beast. But, back to the point, all I need to know is: Are these chips compatible with the 2732 eproms? Anybody have an idea of these odd chips pinouts? Regards

Hi there I have a set of eprom chips with Atari 2600 games burned into it. The eproms have the following inscriptions: S 8225 N82S191I KS22300 L2 Are these 2732-compatible eproms? I'd like to buy some 2600 PCBs and put these chips on it, but I don't know for sure if this would work OK. Regards

ATARI 10-1 console wrapped in an original Atari stick !!!!
lbaeza replied to zanza's topic in Atari 2600
Q: Do those joysticks have the same rubber boot that the original CX40s had, or is it plain hard nono-flexible plastic? Q: The red fire button has the same mechanism of a spring supporting it or is it another mechanism, maybe a bent metal plate? Regards -
Cool Nathan! That's exactly the list that I was trying to do! Do you have a webpage with this list? Regards

Hi there Yesterday I received my new Lynx 2 system I ordered from Best Electronics. Mr. Koda rules! I added Robotron and Rygar to California Games, so I could start playing and feeling the real thing right away, since I only played Lynx using the Handy emulator... Since I ordered the console itself only, no manual was included. I need to know if someone has posted the Lynx system manual somewhere on the net so I can enjoy it at a 100% I think one thing missing at AA is the scans of every Atari console manual. Regards

Hi Mark Why don't you build a similar device for being used with our 2600s? I'd gladly buy one of those carts... Regards
