  1. Although I don't remember the name, I had an APX cassette that came in a box.
  2. I own 2 Fujinets and a Sdrive Max and do not really use either of them very much. Having said that, I really don't see how they are comparable since the Fujinet has the network access and the SDrive Max has none... My $0.02
  3. Oh yes... I used it a whole lot back in the day. In fact I beta tested it and wrote an article about it that was published in Antic.
  4. Hardback isn't a CLI program... it is totally interactive in that it requires the user to answer a few questions.
  5. My Simpson 360 can handle that...
  6. This one will work: Link to more info:https://www.southernamis.com/forum/general-discussions/atari-usb-c-psu-device However, I think this is a better solution...
  7. Tom Hunt wrote RCopy.com and RDel.com which are recursive copy and delete commands for SpartaDOS 3. I have used them a LOT even though the syntax is a little picky. like: RCOPY D1:>*.* D2:>Test>*.* (Note the :> chars are required) Want to try them out? You can get them on my BBS (link below) or I can move them from Atari to PC and post them here.
  8. 1. Fire upper management... 2. Fire marketing... 3. Let engineers run wild...
  9. I like my 1702... it is my primary monitor for my 8-bit.
  10. I use an 800XL with a Rambo 256k mod to read the disks from either a Happy 1050 or an Indus GT with Ramcharger, and write to ATRs located on a PC in APE thru an APE cable. I use two batch files... one for the 1050 and one for the Indus to call Konrad's HSDC copying program. IIRC, I use SpartaDOS X 4.49. Depending on the disk, sometimes the Happy reads faster... sometimes the Indus. All in all, this works well for me.
  11. No I removed all of the 4050s. No scope here. I do not know where my old Tektronix landed but I don't think it survived the move to this house as I cannot find it anymore. (Same with my RANA floppy drive.)
  12. That looks fantastic... 7 cities is probably one of the only games I have played more than once. I bought it BITD and loved it.
  13. I have a strange video issue going on here. Perhaps someone can shed some light. I have 4 NTSC CPUs... Atari 800XL w/Rambo 256k and Brian's original video mod Atari 800XL with U1MB, Side 2 and UAV video Atari 800XL with U1MB, Side 3 and UAV video Atari 600XL with Lothareks's 64k mod and UAV. (On this one, I removed the RF modulator and added a monitor port.) The 600XL has no color when used with the RetroTink monitor option but works fine on the C=1702. The 800XLs all work perfectly on both setups. CPU Commodore 1702 RetroTink with Dell monitor 1. 800XL #1 OK OK 2. 800XL #2 OK OK 3. 800XL #3 OK OK 4. 600XL #4 OK No color; clean signal All CPUs use the same cables on the monitor setup. One cable set for the C=1702, another cable set for the RetroTink. Any ideas?
