Don't just blame GS and EB. Nintendo screwed up big time. Even other stores such as Walmart and Best Buy won't be getting many either. At the store I work at we have 104 preorders and we are only getting 48 copies. Needless to say we aren't very happy about it. And you can always get your money back. I didn't read in this thread where the employee said you couldn't get your money back.

I agree. I could have sworn that a truce was called awhile back. While I am not holding the actions of one or two dudes from here responsible foir the whole board, it was kind of upsetting reading that stuff written as I have always thought it would be cool to see the developers from both boards actually work together as there is some really good stuff that would probably come of it. The problem is comments like the one above, you see why Frog would stay away from here? Backlash can be a pain in the ass, especially when the backlash was for a game that was worked on and sold at a reasonable price. Sad indeed. Funnily enough though this same Holzer character was bitching in JSII about AA. Seems he's been a JS2 regular for a couple of years too. Don't think this has anything to do with trouble between the boards any more than your recent "feud" with JagChris. This isn't like the feud with JC he did. And this isn't really a feud between the boards either. It's just one person being a jackass. And I'm referring to TH in this case.

Ninety Nine Nights did come out at $49.99. Kameo, PD:Z, and PGR3 all launched at $49.99 also. If some places are charging more then they aren't the standard and are just screwing people over.

Actually, from the "well known" and "lesser known" developers who've voiced an opinion on this, it seems that they all consider it a good thing, myself included (I being one of the lesser knowns ). If you're meaning Thunderbird, well, I don't think anyone here honestly thinks he's ever going to release anything more anyway, except perhaps a new colour case for bs or something, at twice the price and with just ten copies available. As I said in my other post, listen to the real coders if you want to know what they think, but something tells me you dont really want to know what they think at all. Ho hum... life in the Jag scene flames on as usual... I'm so glad I came back There are other developers besides T-Bird that have shown concern about the CF. In fact it seems most of the developers that are in favor of it haven't actually put anything out yet.

I've seen plenty of people come into the store I work at and buy a DS that have never gamed before just because of the Brain Age game. Obviously Nintendo is doing something right to bring in some nongamers. We'll see if they can do it with the Wii also though.

I believe I still have a copy of Road Rash for the 3DO lying around. I got it for $2 and had planned on eventually getting a system again, but never got around to it.

Bomberman on it is pretty fun. Also the Mercury sequel will be out in about a week or two.
