  1. Here's a list of what I've got. Scans can be mailed if requested, though may take a while. Listed next to the title is everything that is included, so some stuff may be complete, but due to my lack of knowledge of this stuff, I hesitate to list anything as being "complete". Everything is in decent shape unless noted. PM all offers. Alternate Reality The City-box, 2 disks, requirements/getting started insert, guidebook. Alterante Reality the Dungeon-box, 3 disks, AR:the City order form, ARTD requirements insert, Guidebook, letter from Trilog. Text Adventures 1-12-plastic holder, three disks, Official Hint book . Never played it myself, but I hope the original owner enjoyed it) Mickey in the Great Outdoors- plastic clamshell case, 1 disk, players guide.
  2. while it probably won't be as bad on the PSP. i just don't get the practicallity of these old arcade games on the portables. The GBA's Namco Museum and Konami Arcade games are just about unplayable on the GBA. The screen's are just too darn small. Can you imagine Galaga on the Micro?
  3. Can never find anything in thrifts anymore, let alone stuff off the beaten path like Jaguar. Nice find!
  4. perhaps not that desperate, but they have shown themselves to be that dumb.
  5. I've owned many 32X systems over the years and never had one freeze. they may not work at first, but after a decent cleaning worked fine and for however long they were played.
  6. if someone were to come up with a decent RPG design/story line, would someone(s) else be willing to do the coding?
  7. How the hell did my name get dragged into it? I didn't post yet. But more importantly, would it really matter if this thread got locked
  8. the two that are least like a Sonic game... that's interesting.
  9. I pick these games up out of habit, but very rarely play them. I just don't have the time/ambition/ motivation to go through these strategy games anymore. however, I will continue to buy them for collection and support of NIS purposes.
  10. apparently you've never run into Sonic Heroes or 3D Blast... Sonic CD is prolly my favorite Sonic game. there was just so much to do if you felt so inclined.
  11. it's a speedy 28.8 modem with very (very) basic browser applications. My first taste of the internet was thanks to the Netlink. I have fond memories of it and playing the handful of netlink supported games, but couldn't imagine actively trying to use it today.
  12. The 32X is plagued with a bunch of average games and nothing outstanding. As mostly previously stated Metalhead, Star Wars, Virtua Racing, Shadow Squadron, Tempo, Virtua Fighter, Mortal Kombat 2, Primal Rage, Space Harrier, Kolibri, Blackthorne, and Afterburner are all playable games, but they won't knock your socks off. The 32X presents a love hate situation for me. There really aren't any completely horrible games, but there aren't really any killer apps either.
  13. I put about five hours into this game. I wanted to like it so badly, but after spending more time fighting the camera than the Heartless, I gave up and shelved it. I'd really like to see the rest of the game, so perhaps I'll give it another go. Time can sometimes change things. I recently started playing through PS2 Castlevania which I didn't like when it first came out; I'm 85.5% through the castle and enjoying it much more than the first time I played it. When it came out I was expecting a Symphony of the Night in 3D.
  14. do you want them for collection purposes or to play? I wouldn't really recommend them for the latter purpose. Marko just sucks, and Zero Tolerance was a lot more fun than Battle Frenzy. Citizen X is a non game anyway. I always buy the Oldergames/Good Deal Games releases in the hopes that the support will manifest better games eventually. Five Sega CD and three CDi games later, I'm still waiting...
  15. yeah, it the pause button deal kinda sucked, but the way I played games (sitting on the floor right next to the console) made it a non-issue anyway. SSX: The controller will be a fin.
  16. 1. yes all work 2. yes it does. I could be wrong, but I thought all RF's put out only mono 3. yes, Prize Fighter and Compton's Encyclopedia come to mind. maybe something else as well 4. any controller is fine 5. I've owned many over the years and never had a problem, but that's not to say others haven't. 6. It means you are limited to saving the games to the small space available in the machine. the ram cart refers to the Sega CD memory card basically. Don't NEED it, but is nice to have if you want to save lots of games. 7. can't help you there 8. It will work, but it covers the CD door when attached, and looks really ugly. 9. not sure, I know some people have cut apart their PBC's to get them to work on Genesis 2 systems, perhaps that would work for this as well, but why would you want to destroy the thing like that? 10. I've all the Older Games releases, and have had no compatability problems.
  17. 2D Rpg. all the others are already represented on the jaguar for better or worse. Wouldn't this be a relatively easy genre to develope for? Seems like it should be less intensive than a shooter or something 3D, but I know dick about programming so I could be wrong.
  18. are there ricochetting shots in battlefield?
  19. Combat 2000 Full 3D (ala Cybermorph or Hoverstrike) and with jaglink/modem capability. That would be hot.
  20. i must have bad eyesight, as I not only can't remember it, I don't see it either. edit: HOW DOES THAT PAINT YOU AS A FANATIC??? It was about the zealots on the board that get all bent out of shape when any jaguar game is represented in a less than flattering light. It had nothing to do with you personally, I would have remarked the same way no matter who posted it. You are seeing things that are not there at all buddy.
  21. yes I like the 3DO, and if someone was stating that the crap games on that system were anything but, I'd give them hell too. You seem to still have some sort of psychosis going on. You are not the atari jaguar. A jab at the some random game for the Atari Jaguar System is not a jab at Gunstarhero. You keep stating how I attack people for liking certain things, yet it is you people who attack me. I attack a game, and am assaulted with all kinds of verbal abuse and name calling. I don't care so I don't make a big stink out of it, it just goes to show how warped some of this community is. I await the inevitible reply which glosses over or outright ignores my points in lew of more name calling.
  22. Blame it on a language in which one term can have many meanings. yes, in all games you play a certain role, but in a Role Playing Game there have to be elements of gaining levels and increasing your stats. As for playing it on a PC, while I do enjoy emulation on my PSP, there are some things I prefer to play as they were meant to be...even if it means crappy load times and disk swapping. I figure if the game is worth playing, it's worth playing the way it was played when it first came out.
