Hi fellow Atari fans,This is my first post, so go easy on me.
I was wondering if anybody knows how to configure Stella to work with a USB controller? Specifically the NES Retropad, for those of you familar with it. I do like the Atari 2600 joysticks, and I plan on purchasing one eventually, but for right now I'd like to use my USB Retropad. Is this at all possible? I tried messing around with Stella's configuration last night to get it working, but it didn't even look like Stella knew my controller was plugged in. If somebody does know a way to get USB controllers working in Stella, then please be kind enough to share the procedure to set it up. I am assuming that it's possible, since the Stelladaptor shown here http://www.pixelspast.com/products/ has a USB interface. If it's not possible, the I guess I'll have to suck it up and buy the Stelladaptor, but I was hoping that I didn't have to.

What version of Stella are you using? And is the USB controller you'rs using a "standard USB joystick device," or does it require some kind of drivers?
I just plug in the joystick before clicking the ROMfile and it picks it up automatically.
I am using Stella version 2.1, and as far as I know the USB controller I'm trying to use is a standard USB joystick device. (It doesn't require any drivers whatsoever). If you got a USB controller to work then I guess that answers my question, but I still don't know how to make mine work.

Great job with Nestopia, it's becoming one of the best NES emulators out there! Can I make one suggestion though? When you set it to full screen on the Windows version of 1.26, the screen doesn't "strech" by default. You have to select Max from the drop down menu in order to stretch the output to take up the whole screen in fullscreen mode.
This is not just a problem for 1.26, AFAIK all previous versions have this same bug. I suggest making Max the default option when switching to fullscreen mode.

Oh man nevermind. Plugging the controller into the USB port helps.
Man I feel stupid.
