  1. Got my joystick today--excellent build and works well! Highly recommended.
  2. Got mine today, and have to say I'm really happy with it. Although the feel and the plastic are a bit different than the original Atari joysticks, it has a great, solid sturdy feel to it. The stick itself locks in securely and has great motion to it, with the base. Played a couple minutes of Lead and now I've got to get back to work. But these are great products. Great work, Curt.
  3. I would definitely pay a one-time fee of $25. I'd be especially excited about early access to new homebrews for purchasing.
  4. I really like the new sprite. How about calling them Massimo and Lorenzo? This is really coming along, though the music seems to be too fast. Great work.
  5. Well, I must say that for me, that is pretty amazing news, Andrew. Even if only a little something comes out of this, it would be cool--the progress you made on this amazing game was too amazing for it to go unfinished, imo. Thanks again for all your work in the community here.

Anything more going on with this?
  7. I saw in one of the photos the black Atari briefcase that holds the 2600 and controllers, right? I've been looking for one of those for years, to no avail. Nice collection!
  8. Yeah, I would be all over that. And man, I tried playing this with a keyboard on Stella. TOO hard! Going to have to get a USB joystick from Curt. Booster grip sounds like a good way to go. Would it be similar/possible for someone to write in detection to use the European Atari 2-button joypads? Then it's really feel like Mega Man!
  9. I don't have the cash to order some of these, but I will definitely do so in the future. So, please, re-order!
  10. I love these! They are totally awesome! Really captured the feel of characters from "some other" boxing game. I'd love to play a KO game with all of these in them!
  11. Too bad, but long live Harmony!
  12. Got any photos of it? I'd love to see it, and I'm sure others would too. Thanks.
  13. Cool! I'd love to get one too. And I'd love to contribute to the artwork, but I can't do that timeline--too soon, unfortunately. If it were more like a month I'd dig it and give it a whirl.
  14. So, this comes with the same T+F controller used with the 2600? Is it the blue one with red and white arcade style buttons? Just wondering...
  15. Hey! I bought a MB Cosmic Command controller and Survival Run at the Midwest Gaming Classic this year, ($15 in a nice box, almost complete) and am just playing with it now. The game has a nice 3D effect, but I had questions about the controller itself, and was wondering if anyone else has one who can advise me. The controller itself is in excellent shape, and apart from a slight label peel and a little yellowing of the plastic, it is nice. Came with everything in the box, minus the instructions and end label for the cart. I put the 4 D batteries in it, and I can get the lights to light up when firing, but I'm not getting any sounds or vibration that the box describes--I was wondering if there's something wrong with my controller (should I open it up and see?) or if someone who has owned this can shed some light. The quirky controllers are one of the things I love about the 2600. Thanks for any help.
  16. This is pretty great! Nice and faithful to the NES music, but with that great 2600 flavor! This is shaping up to be pretty awesome! Good work, everyone!
  17. I would like one of these, but will an 11x17 print be the same size ratio as the original art? (i.e. will some of it be cut off?) What size is the original art?
  18. Well, this is all from the same people who put a ripoff of the Star Wars Imperial Shuttles on the front of Survival Run! http://www.atariage.com/cart_page.html?SoftwareLabelID=539 Sheesh.
  19. I'm not much of am Atari historian yet, so I have to ask--what is incorrect about the article, Marty?
  20. Ummm, where the heck is Pete Rose Baseball?! By far the best looking baseball game for the 2600. The gameplay is pretty fun as well. Ranks #2 in baseball games. But for me, it still comes down to Super Challenge Baseball by M-Network. SO fun! Love the pitch control! Always a crowd-pleaser when I bust it out. And what's up with that Yankee game? Can't say I'm a fan of that business. (Go Cubs.)
  21. Cool. But I'm confused as to why the joystick has the Atari logo on it...especially since Atari has nothing to do with this project. (Other than re-use of the molds used in making the FB joysticks.)
  22. Yup, Marty talked about these things at the Midwest Gaming Classic. I believe he said the higher-end model would retail for something in the ballpark of $90, the less advanced for somewhere near $70. It does seem like having Atari, Activision, etc licensing games for download on this would be the main attraction for those companies to get involved. I wonder if this would mean that "other' roms found on the Net wouldn't work with it, or if there would be some kind of protection to keep people from adding those roms found online. And I will buy anything LE does like this when it comes to classic games, but for me, the TV out is an absolute must! I also can't imagine anything less than S-video or composite coming out of a new device. Would HDMI out me a possibility? Marty--thanks again for your presentation at MGC...it was great to meet and talk.
