  1. keep up the good work on that collection !! I used to have a collection like that posted here on atariage, but the time came when i wanted a fishing boat more, so i sold my collection in 2 big chunks, to 2 other super collectors here on atariage and it more tham paid for my brand new boat. I'm now re-starting my collection, but this time, only the games that i love, not every game ever made.

  2. Lets see Atari 2600 games that I could play for ever: 1) Yars Revenge, 2) Adventure, 3) Pitfall 4) Wizard of Wor, 5) Raiders of the lost Ark. I loved these games to death and could play them forever. One time I was playing Yars Revenge for like 5 hours straight then my dad came into the living room and yanked the plug out the wall and told me to get out of the house and go play some where else.

  3. Yeah I know there are a lot of common games mixed in there but people don't think about the fact that they are in great shape if not new and sealed, the shipping price I paid to have them sent to my house and the shipping price of all this stuff was coming out of the winning bid so I was going to be losing money anyway but i'm not just going to give my whole collection away for less then half of what its worth and don't forget you were also going to be getting other atari related items that were not in the picture, not just the 501 boxed games.

Well since the collection did not sell, I guess the next step will be to break this big mutha fuka up and sell it in pieces.

  4. Plus Ebay does not allow me enough pictures to show you all the other stuff you don't see like all the after market games that you will get and games that come with controllers like the Tron pack with both games, Cosmic Commander, the Joyboard MIB with mogual maniac 2600 game, both blue and silver Atari 2600 club member jackets and so forth.

    :ponder: :ponder: ;)

After all is said and done I think it will cost me well over $500 to ship all this stuff to the winner.

  5. Well to pick up your cart would be fine if she had some one else there with her, Not saying your a killer or something else but she is all by her self so you can see how dangerous it would be to have people just come to her house for their games. I have offered her a loan so she could ship out the games but I also have not heard back. I guess us simple people must sit back and wait out side Willy Wonka's gates still the magic carts come out.

  6. Interest check:

If Atari was to release official 30th anniversary Atari 2600 cartridges in original 80's boxes, manuals and cartridges/labels. With a modern twist, while they would work on 2600/7800 consoles, they also would have a built in 2gb thumbdrive with an arcade version of the same game for PC/Mac usage, plus demo's of other Atari products. These would be limited edition cartridges, only issued for 5,000-10,000 units - a collector set of 5 different titles (each sold separately and maybe a whole gift set of all 5 together as well) and they would not be made available again.

Would you buy something like this?

I would be all over that!!!

    :o :o :o :o

  7. What I think is funny is the fact that he must not have any friends or family since i'm pretty sure if he did, one of them would have a camera and boy does he sure sound pissed with all of you asking for pictures, something is up???

  8. Well I just received a nice little letter from Paypal today to inform anyone who sells items on Ebay that your payment money will be held for up to 21 days to make sure the buyer receives his item, so you have to pay for the shipping out of your own pocket first and wait up wards to 3 weeks before you get your money and like the letter I've sent them, I've had people buy stuff from me and never return feedback so how would paypal know if the buyer received there item and release your money, are they going to call each person who dose not give you feedback so they know they got there package?? This sure sounds to me like a way for Paypal to get some interest of off our money and you better hope you don't need your money quick to pay for your rent or food for your family. I could see them imposing this rule on sellers who have negative feedback on items that were not shipped or slow shipping but not on a good seller with no problems.

    :x :x :x

Was this across the board for all sales or just for items listed under the "Video Game" catagory ?

this was changed like a year ago but again only for items listed under "Video Games" I have not had

a problem as I just simply list under another catagory like Electronics or toys no one searches by catagory

anyway I simple search by system like Atari, XE 8-Bit or whatever I may be interested in at the time.

Anyway I have not seen an update to say all items are now subject to the hold but if so good bye Ebay/PayPal

I cant allow MY money to be held and released when they feel like it.

Well If this has been around for a year, I've never seen this Email before and I have a 100% rating so its not because I've cheated any one out of thier money so why all of a sudden did I get this Email ?? I don't know ??
