Hello
I just bought a Atari 2600 store kiosk and the seller for some reason threw this stuff in the sale.
1) Atari 2600 Jr: the system works but the silver band looks a little rough.
2) 2 Gemini controllers. (Tested and worked)
3) A pair of Atari tennis paddles. (Tested and worked)
4) 1 Black 2600 controller.(Tested and worked)
5) 2 power cords: 1 Atari & 1 Coleco.
6) 1 tv/game antenna switch.
7) 15 games that you can see in the picture, I just tested all of these carts today and even though some look like shit, they all work.
Please don't ask me to sell you just a few carts or what not, I am selling the whole lot for just $22.00, Shipping included in the US only, outside the US shipping will be extra!
Paypal only please.
The first person to PM me will be the winner, not the first person to post here, I have already some people get mad at me because they posted here and did not sent me a PM.

Now thats what I call nice. I had a chance to see them at the Pontiac Silver dome back in the early 80's but I got very sick the day of and could not go, but it turned out for the best because my cousin and his friend who went, had no ride home and froze there asses off all night long till my aunt went and picked them up around 6:00 AM and she bitched them both up and down all the way home.

You know it the past 8 years I have been collecting I have seen about 5 VID-LIDS for sale on Ebay and only one of those was boxed. I did see a loose VID-LID on ebay about a month ago and it sold for only a few bucks.

Do you own the Vid-Tari? I'd still say it's harder to find than the Vid-Lid I've seen several Vid-lids boxed over the years, but only found one Vid-tari. The Vid-Lid you just got came from my collection. The Vid-Tari is still here though.
I've seen some other organizers over the years, some I've never seen original packaing for/don't know who the manufacturers are..Here's a thread with details of the Vid-Tari to Vid-Lid change.
Damit, just when I thought my check list was getting smaller you hit me with this!!!!!!! (Oh well the hunt is on)

Well if you have a table saw or know some one who does then buy some wood from Home depot or Lowes and make an organizer your self.I needed something for my boxed aftermarket 2600 games and in 2 hours I made this. I even painted the front edge Atari orange, put some of those Atari logo stickers they sell all the time on ebay and finished it off with some shlack, now its already time for me to make another one.

You should make a bunch of these and sell it to those of us who don't have access to a table saw right now. Maybe in a couple different sizes. Through the AA store maybe? Just an idea?
Either way, really nice. Good job!
Its kind of hard to tell but the inside of the box is also lined with black vinyl. I guess I could make some for anyone who asks but I would not know how much it would all cost untill I make my next one with the price of the wood & the 2 Atari stickers & shipping, I already have the Atari orange paint, shlack & a huge roll of black vinyl so that would not be extra.

The rarest one I know of is the Atari Game Center. It's really not like what you're describing, though.Nope the Sears game center CIB is rarer and the VID-LID boxed is the hardest. In my searches I found many boxed Atari game centers but it took 5 years to find the Sears one boxed and I only just a few weeks ago got a VID-LID which I thought I was never going to find.
:!:Wow, I have an Atari Game Center (sans, the lid that broke years ago), but I've never even seen a VID-LID.

A few months ago I decided to collect 1 copy of each of the gatefold series and the "Classic" picture labels like you see in the early cartoon catalogs. I do not have a large enough home at this time to display them all and they must be put in storage for the time being. So for collectors of boxed titles... how do you store them and keep your collection from being damaged?
For now I've been finding boxes that they fit in, standing them upright, and using newspaper or bubblewrap (when available) to fill in the gaps.
I used to store my boxed 2600 games in those 50 gallon plastic containers but in time I had like 10 of those stacked up. I don't have a lot of room in my house also but with a small 5 foot wide 9 foot long tool room in my basement I turned it into my collection room. What it comes down to is that if you want to collect every boxed 2600 game you can get your hands on your going to have a mountain of storage containers taking up lost of space when for just a few bucks you can buy some small shelves to hold them(After I set up my collection room I had to get rid of like 18 of those plastic bins). To show you what I mean just go to the Atariage members photo gallery, there you can see what I have done with almost no space in my basement.

If I found a swordquest Airworld cart in a box at a yard sale, I sure as hell would not tell the seller that its worth thousands of dollars because I would want it for my self, but if I also found a rattle snake in the box when I got home then that would also be a bounus.

-
Damn that box looks kick ass, I can't wait to buy my copy!!

-
Well first off there are a ton of after market cart organizers. Some wall mount and connect to each other like the VIDEOSTAK ORGANIZER from Music mate. Some are made to sit on a counter top and some even spin like a display case.
Now as far as are some rarer than others for the most part the answer is no, I should know I have a bunch of different kinds still in boxes.

-
My parents had bought it for me and I was at it for like 5 days when I friend of mine asked if he could have it for the weekend to try it out, when Monday came around he told me he did it and showed me how. I was kind of mad at my friend for winning the game before I did but when I saw how it ended I thought it was kool and was no longer mad.

May we see some pics? I'm droolin' for some...
She is in pieces right now but I will post some pics in a week or 2 when I start to put her back together.

plexi glass doors at the bottom and the 2 small ones at the top will have to be replaced,CONGRATS Pitbull!
what's wrong with the plexi glass?
Rick
The glass is not broken but they are scratched up some what. I don't think it should be to hard to cut some new ones to make it look better, plus the small one at the bottom of the controll panel was broken into 3 pieces so that one will also have to be replaced.
:( -
I'm all over that. no one else dare take that auction from me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-
Well I picked it up today and it works but its in rough shape. The cabinet came about 99% complete but things like the plexi glass doors at the bottom and the 2 small ones at the top will have to be replaced, plus there are lots of little dings on the outside. The one thing that is missing is the small plastic strip at the bottom of the controll board and the right side joystick does not move to the right? It will take some time and some cleaning but as soon as its done I will post some pictures of it. Right now its all in pieces in my basement.
PS: I had no problems crossing the bridge. I told the agent what I had and she just told me to have a nice day.

My copy has arrived. Can't wait to try it tonight.
