  1. I saw that one a long time ago when I was a little boy and my dad told me that he was going to send me to that place if I did not stop playing Pac-man at the arcade all the time, then when I was about 18, he went and bought me the full size machine for the basement.

  2. Hey Rasty, this may not help but there are 2600 joystick holders. I saw a 2600 joystick holder that you can put on your lap,( Its was about 2 feet long and made of black plastic), and it holds the joystick in the center. The only problem is that I only saw this, complete in the box on ebay, once about a year ago and have not seen one since.

  3. the price of a 2600 is high on ebay, only if you want a system that is mint in the box, or comes with 70 games or so, but you can still get a complete system for about $30.00 on ebay. I have bought five 2600 sytems complete, three are mint in the box and two were just complete, and the two complete 2600's (With out the boxes), were about $35-$40, so you see you can buy a 2600 on ebay with out paying a high price.

  4. I'm getting mad now!!!!!!!, I have been in all three label contest's just using my windows paint program, but play time is now over. Too many other people have nice drawing programs like coral draw, cad cam, and others, so now I went out and spent over $200 dollors on some of these programs and I'm going to take some classes, so the next contest, its not going to be so easy.

  5. I'm with Ataridude, when I, or one of my friends, would buy a new 2600 game, we would wait till that person was done playing the game, then we would switch with a new game that we were done playing with, but if two of us liked each others game, then we would make a trade.

  6. It's kind of a hard question to answer, just like you, I want all the Atari items I can get my big hands on, things like Ads, posters, store displays, Atari company letters, ETC. I, like you, have got to start slowing down my spending and only buy like two or three items a month, but I just hate it when I think I can do this, then someone puts an item on Ebay that is just to good to pass up.

Now to answer the question about those robots, Yes you should not have spent all that money just because they use Atari controllers.

  7. Some of the things I will do in 2002, is:

    1) I want to learn all I can about making and programming 2600 games.

    2) Keep on buying new or complete 2600 games for my collection, which now stands at about 430 or so.

    3) Make some display cases for all my 2600 collection items.

And last but not least, to keep learning all I can about the Atari corporation that was, and to give as much help as I can to Albert and Alex, the guy's that keep the Atariage site the great place it is.
