I saw that one a long time ago when I was a little boy and my dad told me that he was going to send me to that place if I did not stop playing Pac-man at the arcade all the time, then when I was about 18, he went and bought me the full size machine for the basement.

Hey Rasty, this may not help but there are 2600 joystick holders. I saw a 2600 joystick holder that you can put on your lap,( Its was about 2 feet long and made of black plastic), and it holds the joystick in the center. The only problem is that I only saw this, complete in the box on ebay, once about a year ago and have not seen one since.

the price of a 2600 is high on ebay, only if you want a system that is mint in the box, or comes with 70 games or so, but you can still get a complete system for about $30.00 on ebay. I have bought five 2600 sytems complete, three are mint in the box and two were just complete, and the two complete 2600's (With out the boxes), were about $35-$40, so you see you can buy a 2600 on ebay with out paying a high price.

The games I love the most are:
1) Raiders of the Lost Ark.
2) Pitfall.
3) Adventure.
4) Wizard of Wor.
5) Montezumas Revenge.
These were some of the First games I had as a kid, and I still love.

I have the magazine add for this game, and I say's its for the Commodore 64, Apple II, and IBM PCjr.

I like I nice big bag of popcorn, with a six pack of Coke, that's just to start off, then a 12 inch turkey and ham sub to finish it off.
-
What you have done is great, I love to hear about other people making games for one of the best systems ever.
-
What you have done sounds great but when you complete it, will you be selling it?.
-
Hey Andrew I know you could only post 8 of the 10 you liked, but could you also tell us which ones were the other two???
-
I think that everyone did a good job, but of the top 8, I thinks it going to be between Dave exton, (the guy who won gunfight), and Jahfish.

Hey Russ, you can use any of my 9 label if you like, the name is (Efren Ramirez).

I'm getting mad now!!!!!!!, I have been in all three label contest's just using my windows paint program, but play time is now over. Too many other people have nice drawing programs like coral draw, cad cam, and others, so now I went out and spent over $200 dollors on some of these programs and I'm going to take some classes, so the next contest, its not going to be so easy.

Yes, all the good games are getting hard to find, and I have been into it for two years now, but its good to have this slow down, because it gives people like me a chance to save up my money for the rare games, when they come around.
-
Thank you very much for those nice words. I have been in all three contests, and have had a lot of fun. I have not won one yet, but I keep on designing, and I am told I'm getting better.

I'm with Ataridude, when I, or one of my friends, would buy a new 2600 game, we would wait till that person was done playing the game, then we would switch with a new game that we were done playing with, but if two of us liked each others game, then we would make a trade.

And a happy new year to you also, and to all the Atariage members. (Be safe and don't drink & drive).

Just when I think i'm out, you pull me back!!!. I'm in it again for another try, and I hope, this time, everything comes out smooth.

It's kind of a hard question to answer, just like you, I want all the Atari items I can get my big hands on, things like Ads, posters, store displays, Atari company letters, ETC. I, like you, have got to start slowing down my spending and only buy like two or three items a month, but I just hate it when I think I can do this, then someone puts an item on Ebay that is just to good to pass up.
Now to answer the question about those robots, Yes you should not have spent all that money just because they use Atari controllers.
-
I would love to play this game, but I have it new in the box, and don't want to open it. I think I will go on ebay and see if I can get a used copy.
-
I used the Cart Commander, but did not like it. I thought it was a little hard to use, so I just keep all my Atari items on a disk.
-
Some of the things I will do in 2002, is:
1) I want to learn all I can about making and programming 2600 games.
2) Keep on buying new or complete 2600 games for my collection, which now stands at about 430 or so.
3) Make some display cases for all my 2600 collection items.
And last but not least, to keep learning all I can about the Atari corporation that was, and to give as much help as I can to Albert and Alex, the guy's that keep the Atariage site the great place it is.

Hey Monkey, I don't have anyproblem with my two copies, they look just fine on my Six switch.
-
Don't forget to get a copy of Myst, Dragons lair, space Ace and the Bruce Lee game.
-
It would be nice to see some remakes of games like Adventure, Raiders of the lost Ark, Montezuma's Revenge and Spider Man to name just a few.

I just won the bid on a sealed, mint in the box copy of Pengo for $94.00 on ebay. Does anyone think I paid too much for this. I have not seen a boxed copy of Pengo ever in the two years I have been on ebay.
