  1. I did not know they had made new commercials until my wife asked me if Atari was dead, then why did I just see a commercial on T.V.. I did not see the new spot for a least a week, but when I did it put a big old smile across my face.

  2. You keep talking like that Cassidy, and your going to make me start crying for my first Atari 2600 4 switch system which my mohter threw away because she thought I was no longer playing it, including my first four games (Pitfall, Raiders of the lost Ark,Combat,& Swordquest Earthworld).

  3. Every time I try to come up with a top ten list, I always end up making changes. I can only say that Yar's Revenge, Adventure, Pitfall 1 & 2, Raiders of the lost Ark, & Montezuma's revenge are always up there, but the other 4 keep changing.

  4. When I first heard about this game as a kid, I flew to the store to buy Earthworld, and read the instructions and the comic book about a hundred times and loved the idea of it, but when it came time to play, I like the rest of you could only come up with two clues and was lost from there. I did not buy Fireworld and Waterworld until about a year ago, but I only did it to have the complete set. I still say that I like the story line and the idea of using the comic book to solve the game, but DAM they made it way to hard to solve.

  5. Hey Junie, I sent you an email asking about the game you are making, but what I did not state in the letter is that if you can us my help in any way, I also don't want money, but would like a copy of your game.

Hope to hear from you soon.

  6. Thanks for giving all of us who entered, something fun to do. My entry was almost all done by hand on the paint program that comes with windows, but for the next contest I ran out and bought Coral draw program, and a few others to take on all the other designers who had these programs. I think the label that won deserved to win and i'd like to the maker my congratulations.

  7. I think this person paid way to much for this collection, I mean since I started collecting atari 2600 items, the most I ever paid for a mint Atari was $85, and that was with the box, and all those games are not that hard to get. No sir, I think he paid too much.

  8. Sorry to hear about the bad news Atari70s,

but in 1984, when we moved to my new house, I could not find my 2600 system, so I asked my mother if she knew were it was and she said she threw it out with some other trash because I had not played with it for so long, she thought I did not want it anymore.

(So I know how you feel).

  9. First off, let me say that you have done a great job with you site, I mean first class work my man. Now as far as an idea for your web-site, how about doing reports on some of the old game makers like Crane from Activsion and so on. reports like were are they now and what they are doing. I know this sounds like alot, but it was just an idea.
