  1. When I first started to buy games that were shrinkwrapped, I could tell that some of them had been re-shrinkwrapped and that pissed me off a lot, but now I have some nice rare games complete and mint, and I am thinking of buying a shrinkwrapping machine to keep them free from stains and that sort of damage, but after a while, the shrinkwrapping can start to crush the box, so now I don't know what to do. I have all my games in big plastic containers, but now I am thinking of building some display cabinets to show them off, but I would still would like to protect them a little extra.
  2. Don't listen to those other people my friend, I loved all of the Swordquest games. I loved the swordquest games so much that they were the only games for the Atari 2600 I would play for a long time.
  3. A little off the subject but for those of you who did not know, Parker Brothers was going to make a game for the 2600 about Mcdonald's, but what about I have no Idea., Maybe you have to make a burger and fries before you die.
  4. I think that many games made for the 2600 system sucked liked Haunted house, Star Raiders, Dragster and Dice Puzzel by Panda to name a few.
  5. I think Venture, Berzerk and Asteroids were pretty good games that were turned into 2600 games, but as far as the worst, I would have to agree with the others and say Pac-Man sucked. When Pac-man was going to come out on Atari 2600, when I was little, I got excited, but when I got it I was mad as hell.
  6. I think you did a fine job on your logo, but if you don't mind, I think you should capitalize the A in Atari. Just a thought.
  7. Some other game names that come to my mind are: 1) Beat'em and eat'em. 2) off the wall. 3) Beamrider.
  8. When I saw this picture, I too thought it looked like a controller for a computer and not for the 2600 system. Thank you guy's.
  9. How about if someone made the HULK game that Parker bros was going to do, but never did, or even the lord of the ring, since the movie is coming out this christmas.
  10. I found someone who is selling a joystick with an Alien on the stick, (From the movie and the game from 20th century fox), and at the base it says Alien, but was this made for the Atari 2600 or for a computer game. I don't want to buy the Joystick if it was not made for the Atari 2600. HEEEEEELLLLP.
  11. I think my new Avatar is great, but it only show's my feelings for collecting Atari 2600 games and etc, and not the person I am, even if I can bench press 375 , and can dead lift 600, I'm just a softy.
  12. I live in Michigan to, and I hope you don't mind if I go and take a look too.
  13. That's about the going rate for any of the adult 2600 games mint in the box, or sealed.
  14. I guess I have the people at Atariage to thank for my new Avatar too. Since I was using the name Ataripitbull, but had the He-man Avatar, they game me this great new picture. Thank you very much Atariage.
  15. Well I have about 380 Atari 2600 games,(No two are the same), and I have about ten for my Jaguar.
  16. I like most Activision games, but both Freeway, and Stampede take the prize for bad ideas for games.
  17. I would also have to give the gold to Track & Field, and I love to play it with that big blue controller that came with it.
  18. Just the other day I opened up one of my five sealed copy's of Battlezone and it came with the 1983 Atari video game cataloge, (The one that says your ticket to the Atari stars), and on the inside it has pictures of all the controllers that were made for the 2600, but there was also a drawing of a 2600 voice commander that says you can use your voice to controll the game. Was the Voice commander ever made, and if so were can I see a picture of it.
  19. I would have to say Adventure because it was the first game my mother bought for me after she bought me the 2600 system, and I played the hell out of that game!!.
  20. There are so many good games that it is hard to chose just one, but if I had to pick just one, I would have to say Pitfall by Activision.
  21. I just bought an issue from Ebay that I had once when I was a little boy growing up in Detroit, and from the first page to the last, I knew what each page looked like because I had read that issue about a hundred times as a little boy.
  22. When I was a little boy, on a trip to florida, my dad stoped at a gas station some where in Ohio, and I went in with him and on a rack next to the potato chips they had Pac-man, haunted house, boxing and a few others for only $15.00, and back at home in michigan I could not find a copy of pac-man anywhere, so my dad bought it for me just to shut me up.

    Atari Force

Hey Rhindle, who made this game, and when did it come out?. I looked around and can't find any info on this game.
  24. I think some good movie's to make into Atari games, from the 80's, would have been Conan 1 & 2, Clash of the Titans, or even the movie Legends with Tom Cruise.
  25. For me, playing my atari 2600 system back in 1982, when I was 10 years old, with my friends spending the night over was always fun, but my mom would try to make us turn it off at about 11:00 p.m., so my friends and I would put a big cover over the tv, so the light would not shine into the hallway, and we would be under it playing Atari until 2 or 3 a.m., or sometimes sooner if they caught us.
