  1. Well if you did not want to know then i'm sorry but, you need the amulet when you enter the map room, and when you do, you need to check the clock to make sure it is 12:00 so you can see in the map room which mesa hill you have to go to, to find the ark. (Good luck).
  2. I too, have made up a blue print for a diplay case for my atari 2600 games that would hold up to 25 boxes, so you can see the front of them, and on the sides it would have, Atari 2600, on both sides of the case.
  3. WOW!!, That was very nice. I love it when people set up such nice web sites, for Atari systems, like that one. (Thanks a bunch).
  4. What kind of modifications, to the supercharger unit, are you looking for?.
  5. Good luck on reaching that 1000th post on this site, but as you are going up, so is Tempest, so keep on writing.
  6. Even if you had all these Atari game links hooked up together, were in your house would you put such a thing. Your front room would look like the Atari corporation threw up all over your house.
  7. We all have a problem with spending to much on Atari stuff. I just paid $55.00 for a little ad card for the Atari 2800 system, (In Japanese), and now that I have it, I'm thinking to myself, did I realy need this, and of course the answer is no, but it still does not stop me from buying more Atari stuff. (Boy am I sick).
  8. I don't know if it will help any, but you can still buy an Atari 2600 joystick repair kit on ebay, or even most radio shack stores have a catalog book that have old atari items still in stock and might have repair kit's still listed.
  9. YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO MY SON, LOOK TO THE ALLMIGHTY EBAY TO HELP YOU WITH WHAT YOU NEED. (USE THE EBAY LUKE).
  10. What happend on tuesday is something that has changed our lives here in the U.S. for ever, and we will no longer have a feeling of being safe from these S.O.B. that kill people with out any feelings in there hart, but we must go on and live our lives the best we can, and for those of us who collect Atari items, a chance to relive a time in our lives when we never thought that something like this would ever happen to us. Let us please try to help one another in these times and do what we must to keep on being who we are.
  11. I know what you mean!!. I too have gone on a buying rampage when I loose an Atari item I realy wanted. One night I thought I had a Swordquest Waterworld complete in the box, when some total scum bag bought it out from under me with 15 seconds to go,. If I ever find this punk i'm going to rip his hart out.
  12. I keep changing my top three list from time to time, but I would have to say that my usual top three are: 1) PITFALL. 2) SWORDQUEST (ALL THREE OF THEM). AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST: 3) ADVENTURE.
  13. COMBAT IS THE KING!. My friends and I used to love playing this game together, when I first bought the atari 2600 system back in 1980, it came with combat and man did we every play the hell out of that game.
  14. That's right!!, I am allways looking to buy games for my collection, and when I find one that I don't have, then that's the one I want next. By the way, from Atari70's list, was donald ducks speed boat ever made?.
  15. Your not the only person to get ripped off by people charging way to much for shipping on Atari items. I won two Activision games, sealed in there boxes, and the person only charged me $4.00 shipping, were another person wanted to charge me $5.00, to send one game. I went to the post office and got the paper that list's how much shipping should for items so when a person tells me how much shipping will be, I just look on my papper to see if they are right.
  16. All I can say is that you did a great job with this site. I have just a modem but your pictures came up very fast and I see a few more games that I want to ad to my collection. (Keep up the great work).
  17. If you find out where, let me know. I allways like to see pictures or video tape of other peoples collections, and compare them to my own.
  18. (Atari70s) I'm with you brother, but if he did make a system with all of those items, I think you and I might be willing to pay a little more than just $200 for a mega system like that. I would be willing to sell my two red nose pitbulls, my wife, grandmother and grandfather, and my Pam & Tommy lee video tape for such a machine.
  19. Well I live in Michigan, but I have a friend who is in the navy in Virgina, and he shops all the thrift and electronic stores he can for atari 2600 items in his spare time,if you want to count him as an east coast atari collectore.
  20. I just received a copy of Skate Boardin, (Mint in the box and sealed), which has a sticker on it saying distributed exclusively by Activision, but was made by a company called Absolute Entertainment. What I want to know is if this company made any other games for the Atari 2600 system, if so what were they, and why did Activision have distribution rights?.
  21. My mother bought me my first Atari 2600 system from a K-mart store in the Detroit area in 1980 for about $200, which came with a copy of combat in the box. She all so bought me Adventure, and it cost her $45, with tax, came out to allmost $50, and all the other games were the same price.
  22. My friends father had a video store in Detroit, MI for about five years, and he rented Atari and other system games from his store. what was great was that he too loved to play video games, so he would buy all the hotest new games to be rented, but when people would rent them, and never take them back, he stoped the whole thing and never lent out any more games.
  23. Why don't you just go to ebay and Yahoo, and get what you want, and other things for your system that you don't need, but will want to buy them anyway.
  24. How about making a new system, and you could give it a whole new atari name, that can play the 2600, 5200, 7800, lynx, and jaguar games all in one body, including the CD games for the jag. It sounds crazy, but if you did do it, you would now have a reason to buy all the atari games you could get your hands on. Or you could at least find me a good doctor for my Atari problems.
  25. Yes, all the atari 2600 systems are starting to go up in price. I bought a four switch woody system, never opened, from ebay about a year and a half ago for about $65, and a mint in the box JR system for about $70, and the prices just seem to be going through the roof.
