  1. WOW!!!! lots of carts and those interlocking cubes. I have some of those for my loose aftermarket carts but I only have 8 of the little 4 cart holders. No wonder why its so hard to find the bigger ones, you have them all.
  2. It's not your collection that I love, its your choice of music.
  3. For me what I like most is how nice and neat you have your carts in those plastic bins.
  4. Very nice collection my friend. I see you even bought a bunch of those box protectors as well.
  5. Yep the good old 6-switcher for me any day. I do like the looks of the Vader and the Jr but when most people hear (Atari 2600) they think of the 6 switch woody.
  6. Well its 8:15 pm Friday and no post for preorders!
  7. I've used both on my game room 20 inch tv and to tell you the truth, I can't tell the difference at all.
  8. What a great find, I would not open it. But just so you know I bought a so called (Never Opened) 2600 a few years ago and after a while I could not take it any more and opened it. The seller or some one else, had re-sealed the flap's with a hot glue gun and even though every thing else looked new, the power cord had no box and was not tied up so some one had played the system and took great care of the items inside, but it was not sealed and never opened.
  9. I know your kind of new here, so you might want to put this in the "Wanted" section in the Market place forums. Now are you talking about the Black Activision cart? if you can't find it on Ebay you might want to check with www.atari2600.com
  10. I totally agree with what the reviewer said. I always thought that the CBS ( Wizard of Wor ) was a very good conversion for the 2600 and yes the only thing missing is the wizards voice.
  11. The real question is did the artist get paid twice for his work.
  12. What the problem with those kids is that the 2600 has no pause button to stop the action, 2600 does not give them enough time to think of the next move they want to make. With the 2600 you have to keep the game play going and I bet those teens were getting killed left and right so frustration set in then they didn't want to play anymore. Atari is for people who can handle pressure of non-stop action, not for most brain dead lazy teens.
  13. Atari 2600: Lady Bug: ( 1 hours 10 min ) Alien Greed II: ( 2 hours 45 min ) Yars Revenge: (3 hours 30 ) PS3 Saints Row 2: ( 4 hours 30 min ) Silent Hill (Home Coming ): ( 6 hours 20 min )
  14. I don't have one but I do remember some time ago, another AA member had the Atari Fuji logo tattooed on his upper back, he even posted pictures here. :cool Here I found the picture:
  15. Which is a whopping $635.18 in today's money. Your dollars just don't go as far as they used to. So the PS3 really is a bargain Only difference is that the Atari was fun. AMEN BROTHA!!!!!!!!!
  16. For me its always been: 1. Pac-Man (1981) 2. Donkey Kong (1981) 3. Wizard of Wor (?)
  17. My mom bought me my first 2600 from K-Mart and it ran around $190.00 plus she also picked up Pitfall and Swordquest Earthworld for around $45 bucks each, so yes, the price of a 80 gig PS3 is about right.
  18. What's that son ? are you saying that I don't love Atari 2600? You must have been drinking before you posted what you said. Don't question my love of atari EVER!!!!!! I'm pretty sure I was playing 2600 games way before you picked up a controller.
  19. I just received this cart caled "Salt Diagnostic" from "Hozer" and I understand that it has something to do with adjusting the colors of my TV but how do you do it?
  20. I'm pretty much in the same boat as Emehr in that untill I found the Nexus, then it turned into Atariage, I had no idea to so many other 2600 games existed. My collection grew fast so I have a lot of games but I have to say that I'm ashamed it took me so long to get "Ladybug" from the Atari age store, I love this game and my daughter stands next to me while i'm playing and keeps yelling, "There coming dad, keep moving those doors"
