Sorry, I made the release a bit in a hurry. I finally managed to solve a bug in my texture gouraud shaded routine so I included it in a new new release I also enabled by default the trivial (and inefficient) clipping algorithm, as a provisional solution. (it is particularly inefficient for Y=0 clipping)

I up this topic just to announce a major update of both the Jaguar C library and the Removers library. The major changes are: - the memory allocator is now a robust and complete one. This is an adaptation of Doug Lea memory allocator (used in several distros) -> it is needed to adapt the code of existing projects to take into account this change - addition of a software renderer that can do flat/gouraud shading, without or with textures (no gouraud in this case) and Zbuffer (clipping is not active but a trivial clipping algorithm can be enabled by changing a compilation variable) - fixes of several bugs I have also updated the examples so that these are compatible with this new release.

Hopefully this is true

In theory, I probably could. But for the moment, I do not know how to do that. The release medium will be a binary file to use with BJL setup & encrypted CD.

Hi, first of all, as Atomic reloaded will be a free release, it is a "just for fun" (and glory ) contribution (no money there). The available memory for the music is very short: that's why Amiga Protracker module (up to 6 voices) will fit perfectly. An amiga module file is somehow similar to MIDI files except that instead of using MID predefined instruments, you provide the digitized samples that will play the role of the instruments (hope I am clear here). See also there: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Module_file WAV files won't do the job because of the constraint of available memory.

Atomic reloaded is coming soon (with a online hiscore system and more polished presentation) The game is written. I am looking for musicians in order to finish it

Ok, I finally managed to repair my JagCD developer unit. thanks again Glen for the schematics. I think that the origin of the problem is that the latch arm has cut some wires of the ribbon cable Cheers Seb

Would it be possible to have the details of the votes?
-
Well, I also voted and got nothing back. This does not mean an acknowledgement is not expected.
-
Hi Saboteur! are we supposed to receive an acknowledgement after sending the vote?

Hi Glen, so I finally took time to unmount my JagCD Dev unit to try to fix the ribbon cable. Since I had not all the necessary tools, I aborted the operation but I had an idea. Would it be possible to remove entirely the cable so that I use the Jag CD Dev unit almost like a normal Jag CD Unit? (I figured that I will never connect the JagCD Dev unit to my Falcon). What modifications should I do in order to achieve this? Thanks

If you forget Ruiner, very good stuff

What about the ending of Xenon 2
-
Really good idea!

You might want to specify . mod or .xm or whatever file output your player will use. Then you give yourself a wider chance of finding someone. Thus it's .MOD files. Thanks for the advice

Hello, I am working on a reloaded version of the Atomic game and I am looking for a musician. If you want to participate, please MP me. The music format is Protracker 4/6/8 voices. Cheers.

Really great experiment Who's next ? -
Where is that? The one that starts out with the Jaguar, then breaks up into little pieces and rotates. It might be part of one of the others. I veiwed them quickly. I might be wrong but I think this is pure OP (& GPU of course) stuff. This is the second part of FACTS.

Yes, it seems really promising. Hope (s )he will continue his efforts. This can easily become a really pleasant game.

I can't understand that also. Maybe the author is just starting on Jag development and didn't know about the .bss section. Yes, that's the only reason I could see.

I can't understand that also.

OSMOZYS ZIP file is 0 bytes long! Could saboteur fix that?
