Hi, I finally changed the CD mechanism because I suspected one of the engine. Unfortunately, it has not changed anything. However, while unmounting the JagCD, I noticed that two wires of the multicolor cable going out from the CD unit were hanging (not soldered anywhere). Is it normal? Has anyone have the wiring of this multicolor cable so that I can check that? Thanks

Could it be one of the engine of the CD mechanism?
-
Do you have the pinout of the small PCB board so that I check why it does not work in JagCD mode?
-
ok thanks for the details. I didn't know these. that's basically what I did yesterday by pure coincidence I don't understand why it does not work anymore today.

Yes, I am a lucky owner of this beast But well, I haven't tried to plug a Falcon at the other end This is quite weird because yesterday, it finally worked...

Weren't the shoulder buttons and the xyz buttons just remapped number pad keys? 4 and 6 I think are the left and right shoulders, yes. 789 I think are the xyz....forget..been a while since I used m ypro. yes, something like that by the way, my thumbs do not like the gray joypad: the cross really hurts

Sorry for this post... I just found the answer. Plug the interface cable (grey connector into black plug) Then boot while pressing C And this works You got it. Hold 'B' down if you want to run the cart. And hold 'A' down if you want the stub to load in DRAM instead of on the Alpine. I tried again this morning and it didn't work anymore I got the "plug the power cord" instead. Any ideas?

Hello, I can't remember how to boot a CD on a Developper console equiped with the Jag CD developper kit. Can anyone here recall me what to do? Should I plug the interface cable? Is there something special to do? (press C at boot time...) Thanks! PS: for the moment I get the picture indicating to plug the power cord of the CD unit whereas it is already plugged!

JAGUAR-HSC March-B Super Burnout : Germany - IsGoed_35"79
SebRmv replied to doctorclu's topic in Jaguar High Score Club
Soooo... Take a STANDARD racer, and see if you can do it again for the contest. Good luck. Yes, I would like to but unfortunately, I have only my Alpine and a very few games at my home. The remaining of my Jaguar stuff (including SBO) is packed and ready for my future move. -

Is it in Racing mode or Record mode? A long time ago, in record mode I scored (with Punisher): 29"88 (Average time) 28"82 (Best time) http://removers.free.fr/sbo/seb/DSCN2945.JPG (my other scores at SBO can be found in this directory ) -
JAGUAR-HSC Poll-How long for a contest?
SebRmv replied to doctorclu's topic in Jaguar High Score Club
This probably depends on the game. Are the constests closed when the deadline is over? -
And soon you will be able to have a contest on "Atomic -- Reloaded" !!! Cheers

maybe there is a folder called "brainstorm" or something like that

Unfortunately, this is not madmac source code. This seems to be some source code for the sparrow.

Really nice that you found time to dig your archives As said Gorf, Curt RULES !

No kidding? The same amount of lines as CFlag? if so, I hope to see someday someone post 300 likes 68k 35700 GPU/DSP sorry for the quiproquo (do we also say that word in English?) for Cybermorph, it is easy to measure roughly since 68k source files are *.m68 files and risc source files are *.m15 files
-
Awesome 30000 lines of 68k 6000 lines of GPU/DSP
-
oops, I mixed threads this was intended to go in Cybermorph thread

Really, really nice!

If you have the source code of Tempest 2000 or Rayman, I am definitely interested as this should be a huge mine of Jaguar knowledge.

It's a message to me (and people like me!! ) about some old view posts about high and low level langages. GT But I still like you very much GT

Yes, you are right. I just do not wanted to open a flame war between C and assembly (if you know what I mean) Flame war? I don't see any flaming going on. If you mean my reply to 0^2, I dont see that as a flame but an assesment of the source. That IS the discussion here, no? No problem Gorf. It was absolutely NOT against you. (maybe more against myself) As I said, it was just to prevent from an out-of-topic debate between C (and other high-level languages) and Assembly.
