  1. I never even heard of an "Aquarius". How many games are on the cart and how much will it be? If I open up my query to flashcarts that can hold many games at once and are menu driven, what else becomes available? I also heard about the megacart for the Vic20. I just sold my Vic20 a few months ago, darnit! Thanks much for the replies.
  2. 1. I have the 72-in-1 multicart. If I have the spinner (Atari driving paddle) plugged in when I turn on the Vectrex, it automatically selects the first game. So in order to use the spinner, I have to plug it in after selecting the game. Is there a way to hack the spinner to stop this auto-selection problem? 2. The spinner does not spin fast enough to be useful in games like Armor Attack. Is there a way to make the spinner require less spinning?
  3. I do not want a flashcart or anything that requires me to populate the cart myself. Also no dip switches. I want plug-and-play and menu-driven. What systems other than Vectrex and Atari 2600 have (or used to have) a menu-driven pre-populated multicart available? I saw the list here: http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/127752-flashcart-and-multicart-list-all-systems/ But it is woefully out of date and does not even list the 2600 multicart.
  4. I would really like to close this issue, but Sean either continues to ignore my emails or has changed his email address. Does anyone have ANY contact info on Sean Kelly? Address? City? Phone number? New email? I am certainly not going to throw away $125. I'm about ready to file criminal fraud charges, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt in case he changed his email address and isn't really ignoring me. Thanks, -Mike
  5. I have been unable to get hold of Sean Kelly. I paid for a cartridge LAST MAY and finally got it after almost 5 months and posting on this forum. Unfortuantely, I got a defective cartridge and verified this with someone he knows locally (the folks at Ground Control). He has ignored any emails I sent since late October when he asked me to verify it on another machine, which I did and wrote him in early December and again each month since. Has Sean Kelly "gone bad"? Did he change his email address? What's up with this guy?
  6. Ok, I did the composite mod. WOW! What a difference! Looks great! Just one slight issue - some frequencies of sound cause some bending in the video, like the tank engine sounds in "Combat". Any suggestions for correcting this? I assume I need to do something about shielding, but what?
  7. Ok, I have it hooked up correctly now (in to the VCR antenna jack, out from video jack)and I am getting a picture - a shakey flickering picture. I tried the channel A/B switch on the console and channels 2,3, and 4 - 3 works best but is still nasty. Any idea what's next?
  8. quote: Originally posted by Sark: http://www.atariage.com/howto/connect.html This web site has a link to making adjustments with a soldering iron to your Atari 2600 *JR* to allow direct connection to a composite monitor. Do you know of another site that has similar instructions for the 2600 (not jr)? Thanks for the info.
  9. I got a DOA 2600 6-switch second edition. The power supply works, so it's the console. No picture or sound at all - it's dead. I have it plugged directly in to a composite video monitor, so I am not using the RF modulator. Is there a web site with troubleshooting tips or does anyone here have a list of things to check for on a DOA console? Thanks.
