Hey guys, We're working on a team demo project for the Sega Megadrive. The official thread is here: http://www.sega-devega.net The basic idea is to have each team (or individual) produce a position independant 256k binary, that will be called up from a main demo frame. How the demo will look, and it's theme is undecided at this stage. We're just basically looking for interest from programmers, artists or musicians. If you're interested, then register your interest on my official thread. Lewis

Easiest retroconsole to code for?
LewisBassett replied to Trooper's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Code some games for the Megadrive!!!!!!!!! We use the M68000, which is the most easiest processor to program for ever. I even have a full (WIP) beginners tutorial on programming for the Megadrive: http://www.sega-devega.net If you're not happy with that, we have C compilers, and a BASIC compiler. Also, our community is still fairly new, and you'll make a real difference to this scene. Come along and join the fun: http://www.sega-devega.net Lewis -
Looking for a good Sega Genesis/Mega Drive site

This one's slightly more technical: http://www.sega-devega.net -
Hi, I run a small Sega Megadrive community, and we're always looking for new members (for projects and things). My site has a very detailed tutorial on how to program the Megadrive, aimed at complete beginners with NO programming or technical experience. Here's the link: http://www.sega-devega.net Come along and join the fun!
