  1. I learnt LOGO using DRLogo on my amstrad cpc6128.. I did some very fancy stuff with it. I've still got some listings in one of my notebooks - will have to warm it up on the emulator and make them again and show some grabs
  2. What would these books have in them? I'm very intrested but live in the UK...
  3. Compared 2 the C64 version, the Spectrum version was good
  4. I would LOVE a Monkey Island prototype for my Mega CD..
  5. You need to look at it with a little perspective The fact that the Lynx has a version at all is pretty amazing. When Hard Drivin' hit the arcades, it had an insane amount of processing power inside of it, outclassing the poor little Lynx by several magnitudes. While the port certainly isn't perfect, it is pretty good, and with a little practice you can get around the tracks well. I remember being hugely disappointed with the Saturn version, which was especially disappointing as the Saturn had so many killer versions of my favorite arcade games. Though its been a while, I'd have to dig it out to actually remember what I didn't like Until Midway Arcade Treasures 2, the Genesis definitely had the best version of Hard Drivin' Though the Xbox version of MAT2 was destroyed by awful controls, I play it on my GC all the time. I love Hard Drivin' and Race Drivin' they're in my 'top game' list For those who critise the Lynx version, take a look at the Commodore 64 version! I like a good game of Hard Drivin myself.. I use MAME for the game though. Would love to get the Midway Arcade Treasures packs for my Gamecube but they seem to be hard to find..
  6. I own all the Zelda games - my first one was Links Awakening on the GB and I thought it was good. But it was Ocarina of Time that got me into Zelda big time and since then, I brought every game. I spent a bit of cash getting the GBC games and the 5 game Gamecube disc (had to buy a crap game to get it free in one of our local stores) much to the dismay of my wife. She got me Twilight Princess on the GC for Christmas and I think it's excellent. But Ocarina of Time will always be my favourite. I convinced my missus to try a game so she tried A Link to the Past and for two weeks, I had trouble getting her off my DS. I've got the Phantom Hourglass (DS) on pre-order. Not played much of Minish Cap although I've completed the first dungeon. Not played the GBC adventures much since my GBC got broken - trying to get hold of a GBA SP just to play these.
  7. None here either (don't even have a machine)
  8. Thanks for that. By the looks of things, a Commodore 64 version was the basis for this screenshot.
  9. Does anyone have any info about Dizzy games on the Atari 8-bits? Any cover scans? Thanks (I'm a big Dizzy fan)
  10. Didn't know Double Dragon came out on the 7800...
