  1. I enjoyed these games on the Amstrad CPC.. They too were slow, but barable. You could do a keypress with joystick to help you move faster...I think as the series progressed, they optomised the code to help things go quicker. It was quicker when it came to Total Eclipse and later Castle Master..
  2. Do we know who programmed this? Thanks
  3. Looks good... I'm writing a book about the Dizzy series and this looks like it'll be a worthy addition, even though unoffiicial. What emulator would people recommmend using please? Many thanks.
  4. I find the Amiga mice quite comfortable to use.. Would anyone have any instructions on how it could be done - I'm sure that with instructions, I can do it.. failing that, my daughter can try (I'm still recovering from a heart attack).
  5. I wouldn't have the confidence to do that.. even though I can fix an Amstrad CPC, a Sega 32x, build and repair PCs & Macs and repair disc drives.. I have several spare Amiga mice.. Thank you..
  6. Thanks. I heard on some machines, controllers not specifically designed can ruin the machines themselves.
  7. I got a new Atari 1040 STFM last week with no mouse or games. Games are no matter as I still have my ST games. But a lack of a mouse is an issue.. Is a Commodore Amiga mouse safe to use with an ST? I've looked on ebay for ST mice but are very expensive.. Thank you.
  8. I got a wooden Atari 2600 last year but it only had paddles with it.. What joysticks/gamepads are safe to use with it. I hear Sega Master System controllers are safe but can this be confirmed? Thank you.
  9. I was given an Atari 2600 (original) the other week but it didn't have a power supply with it. The former owners claimed it could use a Sega power supply but I know that isn't true as all my Sega power supplies are too big.. Please help!
  10. I'm after the Japanese version of Klax on the Gameboy - I know it's different than the English edition and would like it to go with my set.. Due to a lack of Paypal, I would like to buy it from someone in the UK, but might be able to trade with an overseas fan... If anyone can help me, please let me know.
  11. I've got a lot of downloads but I do have the soundtracks to Zelda: Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time & Majoras Mask along with Final Fantasy 7 and 8 on proper CD with full packaging. I also have a Tomb Raider Anniversary CD which came with the game on the PS2.
  12. I've not been on Atari Age for a good while.. I only came on here because I wanted to place an ad for a Commodore 64 disc drive.. No probs if someone wants to buy the whole lot, gd luck.
  13. Surely it wouldn't cost much to send to the UK - assuming US 360 games work on UK models - assuming your packing is a DVD case with disc and manual?
  14. Thanks for that - that's teh version I saw previewed.. Need to find a copy of that now.
  15. I love this song! Pity I don't have Guitar Hero though.. (If this was the £250,000 / $1,000,000 song on Don't Forget the Lyrics, I would win the money)
  16. The first Rogue Squadron on hte Gamecube was quite good. The second one was only useful for the co-op Rogue Squadron 2 on it.. Generally most SW games are good but some are weak.
  17. I remember seeing a preview of Klax on the Gameboy featured in Computer and Video Games magazine and it was in a 2D format. I don't have a scan of the preview on me at the moment (the disc with it on is buried) so I can't show it. However, I brought a copy of Klax on the Gameboy on eBay a few weeks ago and it was a 3D enviroment. Does anyone know if the 2D version was released? (The copy I have was released by Mindscape) Thanks.
  18. I got a second hand N64 once as a spare but it kept rattling so after I dug out my 'computer repair' toolkit, I opened it up and found £20 in one pound coins!
