    Haha It can actually sell for 30 or so on ebay but I had one a while ago and they pulled it After I sold it. So my compliance went to fair from good. I contacted ebay and told them their rules state M rated games can be listed and they told me there is underage girls on the game and that is why It can be sold. Who Knows...

    Today as i went to the salvation army one of the workers were putting out a large hall of super nintendo games.

    it was there special half off tag day so every game was 1.50 (originally 3.00)

    I ended up taking 15

    Harvest Moon

    Super Mario World

    Actraiser

    Lufia

    King of Dragons

    Rampart

    Secret of evermore

    E.V.O. Search For Eden

    mario Preschool Years

    I was Kind enough to leave hockey and baseball games ;)

    Im very surprised that someone with a collection like this would donate these games considering its a 300+ plus collection

    One of the better hauls this year :D

    Are you keeping most or trading/selling some off? You could make quite a profit with the EVO, Earthbound and many others off that list. $1.50 each, that's crazy! Good for you zach1845!

    Because of the Democratic majority in the house and Senate nothing is being done to do more drilling in the United States. The Democrats have no answers and dont want to look into drilling in the ocean. Nothing will ever get done as long as the Democrats have the majority because they block every good idea. Common sense says if there isnt enough Oil in the Middle East and you have alot in your own soil then Drill it.

     

     

    Trying to blame all of our current woes on the (barely) Democratic controlled congress without offering any direct examples is empty bluster. If you can point to some specific things the Democrats passed that directly led to higher gas prices or the subprime crisis by all means do so. Otherwise I'd saying you're making an argument along the lines of "ever since you kids got that dog its rained every weekend". As much as some might like to blame Harry Reid and his fab 49 vote non-majority its not going to wash, the roots of the credit crisis were planted long before the 2006 elections and if any party is responsible for the oil crisis its the one thats been in bed with the oil industry all along.

     

     

    Lastly pointing to the low approval numbers of congress to prove your point is misleading in the extreme, for one most American probably couldnt even name their own Senators and Rep let alone tell you what they're doing or not doing. Also consider that a Republican may be mad at congress over immigration, while a Democrat might be mad about the war and an independent might be mad about telecom immunity... There are many reasons for people to be upset with congress but that doesnt necessarily favor the minority party, just look at how poorly Republican candidates are doing this cycle for example.

    As a advisor for a major bank you should no better as to what a huge tax increase to everybody would do. If you really believe that he is only going to cut taxes on the rich then you will be in for quite a surprise. Who is going to pay for free medical insurance? There is not enough rich people in the world to pay for all his "free" stuff. A obama Presidency is the worst thing that could happen to the United Stated during this time, People need to save their money and keep what they earn no pay for people on welfare who have 10 kids and are to lazy to work.

     

     

    So, 4 more years of Bush-o-nomics (tax cuts for the wealthy, incentives for mega corporations to move overseas, and a continued expansion of government) is the shot in the arm we need? Hmmm...

    I'm not sure which mainstream media you're watching...sounds like the same one we all see based on what you are stating about Obama. He's actually planning on LOWERING income tax for the middle class. The media as always spins WAY right, and they're not even past the tip of the iceberg as to just how bad it is right now.

    I'm not sure what you do for a living....but I work as an adviser for a major bank. I manage OTHER PEOPLES 401k's, and have a damn good idea of what is going on. And believe me it's not good.

    But again if you feel that McCain (who btw on several occasions himself said he was no expert on finance!) is the answer to the economic woes then by all means support him. If you're impressed with the recent "growth" which almost got us close to where Clinton left the economy in 2000, then great. TO me, 8 years of stagnation with worse times in the near future to look forward to is not my idea of growth.

    Your cries about Obama sound very identical to those about Clinton in 91. Eight years of unprecedented growth and prosperity later, most realized they were wrong about him. Again it's the "mainstream media" that has peoples' opinions about the Deomcrats wrong. guess who LOWERED the capital gains taxed in the 90's? Bush Sr.? Nope. Clinton did. Guess who balanced the budget and ran with a surplus? Yep...Clinton again. Guess who annihilated that surplus and turned it to a deficit? Here's a hint...its the same guy who EXPANDED the size of government. Need another hint? He also lied us into a war that's costing billions....

    Look believe what you want. Obama WILL be president come January, and his economic policies will restore positive growth. And I'm sure the righties will jump in and take credit for the growth as being GW Bushs' policies not Obamas, much like Clinton haters said he benefited from Reaganomics and GHBush1.

    I sold my copy on ebay a few months ago

    it sold for 10.00 so complete maybe 15 or 20

     

     

    I'm not very knowledgeable about Megadrive prices.. but I know some ppl are at AA ;)

     

    There's a box with some Megadrive games collecting dust like forever.. Most are PAL commons, but this is something more

    special.. As I'm more into DC, I haven't got a clue... I think it's NTSC.

     

    Can someone please shine their light on this item?

     

    (why the pics show up rotated I haven't got a clue.. sry.. they show upright on my mac :? )

    While at a yard sale last weekend at around 3 pm I picked up some very rare PS1 game such as Ogre battle, Suikoden II, Valkre profile, Azure Dreams Persona and around 10 other RPG's Most of which are worth 30.00 to 100.00 each. The Point is that this sale was on a major highway and was saturday at 3pm. The sale started on friday morning and these games were 1.00 each. You would think someone would have grabbed them me But many people at yard sales are looking for stuff other then video games.

    Both amazon and ebay have them its a real re surfache machine so you dont get that horrible layerd look

     

     

    I bought my own cd buffing machine for around 175.00 its a simo. It can take discs that look horrible and make them look new.

    its the best 175.00 spend on a gaming item

    Where did you get it? I've been thinking about getting one for DVDs. I've been picking up scratched discs at Blockbuster for a buck each. Some work, most don't, but for $1 on an obscure title it's worth the risk.

     

    I've looked at the cheapo models like the Spindoctor, but they don't work very well. For my favorite discs I've resorted to the cloth and toothpaste method, but it would be nice to find an easier way.

    Millions of People go to yard sales and buy stuff from video games to antiques comics and so on. I dont see anything wrong with someone who wants to buy stuff then resell it. most of the time unless they really now what they are doing they wont make that much money. Because alot of games are worthless, granted some are worth alot. howwever reselling games are anything that someone wants to sell on ebay the person doing the buying has to do alot of work, cleaning shipping and so on. Any business from walmart to a restauraunt to any family business buy something low and then resell it for higher after doing something. That is how any company works. So if you are so angered by someone reselling for a profit you should not pump gas, go out to eat, or buy anything from any store.

    PS. I have what you would consider a "real Job" but buy what you said you dont really understand how life in general works

     

    As for a IRS hotline I dont see how you can can distinguish between someone selling there collection or someone reselling for the sole purpose of earning money. And if someone is reselling something full time it is their responsibility to claim income tax not yours.

     

     

     

     

     

    It seems this issue of buying games (and other items in high demand) from a thrift store and reselling them on ebay has polarized us into those who approve and those who don't.

     

    im not fond of the full time ebay reseller. they are people who "buy and sell but produce nothing". Their value in society in minimal, they are really just parasitic middlemen. not only are they completely non-essential to the economy, they are actually a hinderance. Rather than learn a skill or trade/occupation (i.e. Physician, Millright, etc) that actually benefits people directly, they use up vital public services and resources and seldom carry their fair share because about 90% cheat on their taxes or declare no income at all. (which probably isn't hard to do if nothing is in your name and you are living in your parents basement, or sponging off a friend/relative).

     

    All of the full time Ebay resellers could dissappear tomorrow and no one would blink an eye. :twisted:

     

    Yeah this is a bit of a rant, but thank Ebay whores for ruining the fun of finding games in the thrifts. :(

     

    BTW, is there an IRS hotline where you can rat out these resellers?
