    They were actually in CIB and it was a good find. althothough I checked that same store every day for 2 months and thats only my 2nd game find.

    No offense but most of these games are cheaper on ebay

    most games such as metal gear and most others you have you can get for 1 cent and 5.00 ship

    you have punchout at 16 it can be had for 4 dollars on ebay

    and i bout mike tysons punchout contra and bubble bobble for around 11

    If you want these high end prices its best to set up a ebay store

    Thats true many original nes games are cheap but all the good classic games such as mario 2 3 contra punchout and those games consitently sell for 20.00 or more super Nintendo games are almost always worth alot compared to the genesis

    Even mario for super sells 12.00

    and sonic games for some reason sell 12 cents

     

    I see the Playstation and the Genny being very similar as far as the collecting goes. Both were systems based around being the best thing going at time but with a built in obsolescence factor. In other words they kicked butt at the time but now they just make you want to play something more modern. Its best seen in the sports titles which have the year right in the title... Where as Nintendo's consoles always make you feel like "heres this little world I visit in my free time" and thats a place you'll want revisit even years later because of the timeless quality of well made games.

     

    Well not quite, you can add the NES, look at the games on US ebay, 1000s of titles for $1.00 or less (many of those games so horrible you do not want to revisit them).

     

    Also many, many and even more many NES games of inferior quality (3/4 of the NES library perhaps?), as usual the Nintendo ...boys are living in some sort of fantasy world.

    I have yet to see this in my area. They know around here no one is going to pay 20.00 for super mario all stars because they will just buy it online rather than a dirty flea market vendor. so these places go out and most people will sell all games at one price usually between 3-5 dollars each. there will always be rip of places, but there will always be places to get them cheap if you look hard enough

    I agree with you on the Genesis But PS1 is still very popular.

    In Fact I had to pay 20.00 just to get spryo off ebay

    and even basic games such as resident evil and metal gear are 20-25.00 Dollars

    and of course all the rpgs rund from 30-150

    There is still alot of people collecting for the ps1

    as far as the owner he would of been happy

    I know most swap shops around me are happy to get 2.00 for an atari cart

    because they just sit there.
