    I agree. now every price he wants will be top dollar ebay prices.

    you could of offered a fair price of say 20.00

    that way he makes money and you get a deal

    My opinion is someone is getting ripped off either way. Im sure the store payed no more thant 50 cents to get that cart to begin with.. So the store would lose out if they sold it for say 5.00 but the person who really gets ripped off is the person who traded itno the store to begin with. Im sure 95% of people dont know the difference between a asteroids or a waterworld

    Wouldn't be hard to kill Gamestop. We all could probably open our own used game shops right next to them and sell everything at *reasonable* prices.

     

    Then when they are floudering and its stock are crashing, buy em out cheap (ie hostile takeover), we can put an end to their insanity. Employees would be required to actually know something about older games they sell.

    BTW

    gamestop goes by online prices for there games

    Gamecrazy adjusts prices by age only

     

    At gamecrazy i was able to get all three fatal frames for 15.00 dollars each

    At gamestop they were 45.00= 50.00 EACH

    Rarer games are WAY overpriced at gamestop

    at gamecrazy they sell quicker but are prices no more than 15

     

    I Used to wonder why no one likes gamestop now I know

    I predict when more reasonable prices stores open the gamestops will all go under.

    Its because they create the demand for the games. marvel v capcom 2 is a prime example. somehow they came into possession of nearly all of these games sit on them at the warehouse, then release them every so often and put an $80 price tag on it

     

     

    Is this documented fact, or conspiracy theory? Because Capcom lost the Marvel license right after releasing the PS2/Xbox version of MvC2. So demand for that game isn't some sinister plot, it just had a legitimately low production run before they had to stop making it, and it's a popular game. Small release plus popular game equals high prices, even if GameStop as a company did not exist.

    Don't get me wrong, i'm not a huge GameStop fan for most purposes, but i do think some of the evil plans people attribute to them are a little ridiculous.

     

    Honestly there is no game that they have there for 10.00 that walmart sells for 30.00 in fact they are selling used xenosaga III for ps2 for 35.00

    its 29.99 new at walmart, Almost every game is more there used then new. in fact gamecrazy if they are near you sell around half the price that gamestop does and in my area the gamestops are all going under because of gamerush/gamecrazy

    cant say im disapointed about that

    I sold the Nintendo game dustyn diamonds softball for 29.99 on ebay. which is a fair prce. discount games bought mine and they have to listed for 39.99. it doesnt seem worth it to make an extra 10.00 and trying to get 40 will take quite a while.

    seems like they could lose money with fees doing that.
