  1. I emailed him to humor myself and he said someone offerend him 150.00 and he took it. I think this guy selling the atari is full of it.
  2. my best find for atari games were prolly death trap and water ski (7800) tank command (7800) mr dos castle although im mainly a ps1 and snes collector my best finds tactics ogre sealed super nintendo ninja gaiden trilogy cib Nintendo Little samson capcom vs marvel 2 ps2 sealed (had to shell 25.00 for that one)
  3. I have no problem giving good deals many people have done the same to me those were all duplicate carts each game of those I already have a complete copy as i prefer to collect cib games
  4. Hi Game have Sold as a lot thanks for your interest.
  5. Ok. Sounded authentic but it is hard to belive.
  6. Unfortunatley I dont live close to there a GREAT DEAL look at those games! river patrol and malagia http://atlanta.craigslist.org/tag/452482779.html
  7. Nice find...It never hurts to ask a lower price infact they expect it! There have been times they went down form 40.00 to 10.00 you never know...and we all want to save money.
  8. I think maybe jealousy may make some people try to find something to be upset about. congrats on the find
  9. Me personally if I know im getting a good deal I have no problem paying the asking price. I dont bargain much however you cant blame someone for trying to bargain a price. because say he only wanted it for 5 and not 10 if would most likely end up in the garbage if no one else snatched it up.
  10. One of my best halls to date church rummage sale 1.50 per game. many squarsoft rpgs. final fantasy 7, dragon warrior 7, final fantasy tactics. diablo. brave fencer mushashi, tecmos deception vagrant story, threads of fate
  11. Eli's Ladder is an R10 and is very hard to find: http://www.atariage.com/software_list.html?SystemID=2600 This discussion about rare games has occurred many times before...if you want to know what games are rare, look up the R10s and R9s in the database and you'll get a pretty good idea. A few of those (Ikari Warriors, Motorodeo, Obelix) have dropped in rarity, but the list is mostly accurate. And please stop posting threads in the 2600 forum asking about rare games like Air Raid, River Patrol, etc. and where you can find them...lots of people are looking for these. If you have serious interest in purchasing them, post an ad in the Wanted section and sit back and wait, or go out and prepare to do some serious searching. and forking over big bucks....... Most of the Time games like this that would pop up would be in a old attic somewhere and then sold at a flea market How many people know or care to know the value of an atari game especially when it will be mixed with other games. most of my best finds have been at yard sale/flea markets for 50 cents each unless it ends up in a gaming store it will be no more money than a asteroids cart.

  13. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...E:IT&ih=013 getting rid of alot of my manuals. no reserve starting at 1 cent. send me a good offer and ill take it off ebay thanks
  14. Another thing to think about. If people arnt willing to part with their games cheap, there would be no EB games. No Gamecrazys and no Mom and pop game stores
  15. In my area (upstate new york No not the city) its mostly small thrift shops not big multi area salvation army's (is that what goodwill is) and games are 1.99 or so however its very hit or miss but every once in a while there will be a box of nes or snes items. and I feel at least around here people mostly pawn shops buy very cheap so they sell very cheap. i know of a place that pays 25 cents for nes and snes games and they sell them 3 games for 5.00 and surprisingly alot of people trade them in because the chains stores no longer take them so thats the only way they feel they can get rid of them (alot of peole dont have time to deal with online activity/ebay. and flea markets are great but there is Garage sale Flea markets where its regular garage sale family's who sell stuff cheap. Its not actual venders who are there evey week who ask hight prices. Maybe in whatever magical fantasy town you live in, but almost everywhere i go these days thrift store games start at $5 and the sky's the limit. My favorite was recently finding a small stack of NES games at a Salvation Army, $5 each. There was a copy of the Where's Waldo game that was stained all sorts of weird brownish colors and had a hole about the size of a quarter shattered out of the front of the cart. It was also $5. I have seen SNES games in thrift stores priced above $15, and i've seen Sega CD games priced at $20. Found a loose copy of Final Fantasy for the NES in a Goodwill once marked $30.00. Bare N64's, Dreamcasts, and Playstations at the low, low price of $50. This is becoming less of an exception and more of an absolute in my area, and the flea market dealers are following suit. The couple pawn shops i can ever find open are no better, with games starting at $10 and going up from there. For the past two years or so i've been finding better deals at Game Crazy and even at GameStop/EB than i have been at thrift stores, which is just sad. I would kill to have the 4 out of 5 stores of which you speak available in my area.
  16. I dont necessarily belive that obscene pricers are the rule but the exeption. For every 1 game store with high prices there are 5 thrift shops private shops hobby shops pawn shops where nes games are 3.00 snes 4.00 and n64 5.00 and so on. Now granted alot of the popular games are gone they will show up in a week as parents dump there kids collection and get 25 cents at a swap shop. even at some game stores (gamecrazy for example) are wayyy cheaper then ebay. they sell fatal frame for ps2 dark alliance 2 marvel vs capcom 2 for around 15.00 each and on ebay these games are 30-70. people who go to stores such as eb games are stores that price games above ebay prices in my opinion are taking the easy way out because everyhing out there if they look.
  17. Looking or rpg for super nintendo and ps1 let me know what you have and what your looking for outa them thanks

  19. That is very important. The area I live in the pawn shops sell all games for around 4.00 each while i know some places they look up games on the pc to see the value even at swap shops. PS EVO for Snes is a great game.
