  1. The image compression I used may not be compatible with your browser, you may need to adjust your settings. 1) Push ctrl+ on your keyboard 3 times. If you still cannot see the pictures, move on to number 2 2) Reboot your system. You may have driver conflicts! If this does not solve your problem, move on to number 3 3) Rotate your monitor 90 degrees This might help to unclog any unnecessary file buildup on your system. If the problem persists, move to number 4 4) Bark like a dog! No good? Man, your system is really hosed up! Have you considered a Macintosh?
  2. Looks similar to some I've seen with Famiclones. Do some of the Famiclones use 9-pin ports?
  3. What's the situation, Norman? Sounds like an R.E.M. ripoff! (What's the Frequency,Kenneth?) [edit] Aww, you edited it. Snafu used to be one of my favorite INTV games. The music is insanely catchy... almost as bad as Activision's Pressure Cooker! On a completely unrelated note, has anyone seen the old Private Snafu cartoons?
  4. That would be my guess as well. Too many years have passed... I think it's about time to dig out the cartridge again. On a completely different note, a few weeks ago I picked up and played through both Metroid Fusion and Metroid Zero for the Gameboy Advance. Both games were very good, but Metroid Zero tromped all over Fusion, IMO.
  5. I agree with you on Ice Climber - great game (also the first game I ever bought with my own money). Which version of Mario Bros are you playing? I never cared for the NES version I played growing up, but several months ago I found another (Classic Series) version that plays much nicer/prettier and includes the arcade intermissions! I actually prefer the gameplay over the arcade! I've uploaded the ROM in case you haven't seen it before.
  6. I'd be interested to see a list of games that make the other systems on your list worth owning.
  7. A similar idea: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=66072
  8. I enjoy many miniature golf games. For plain old golf, I like Golf Shiyouyo 2 on the Dreamcast.
  9. I'm happy to see this is still being worked on!
  10. My apologies... I only just now saw Hepcat's response. I would send the message via PM, but I think that others might be able to benefit from the information in the future. I am using Mame32 0.103 1) Open up Mame and find the game that you want to use your Atari paddles/Stelladapter with. 2) Right-click on the title and pick Properties 3) Click on the Controllers tab and make sure that "Enable joystick input" is checked. Down towards the bottom, make sure that the "Stelladaptor" stereo buttons are checked for both X & Y Axis. 4) Click the Controller Mapping tab and choose the "Joystick" setting for both paddle device and dial device. 5) Run the game. Push Tab to bring up options. Scroll down to "Input (this Game)". 6) Scroll down to P1 Button 1 and press "enter" to change the setting. Then push the red button on your atari paddle. Mame32 will then display the new button setting. Repeat this for "P2 Button 1". 7) Scroll to Dial Analog, press "enter" and then rotate the spinner on your Atari paddle. Mame32 will display the new analog setting. Repeat for Dial 2 Analog. You should be set to go. If the movement is too jerky, fast, or slow, you may need to adjust the "analog deadzone" in "Properties"

    Flicker Fest

This is going to be so awesome! I was wondering if it might be possible to tweak the speed of the lazer beam a bit to maintain perspective as it goes across the terrain? As is, it doesn't seem to give the same illusion of depth that the enemies and terrain do. Maybe I'm nuts, but it almost looks as though the lazer is shooting straight up into space. An idea might be to change the lazer color gradient as it moves across the terrain, as well as have it shorten in length as it is moving. Here is a quick animation to give an idea of how I mean.
  12. Wow! This is incredible! Nice work!
  13. Thanks for your help Thomas!!!! Fun Game. -Lee Thanks for releasing this, Thomas! It is quite a lot more difficult than Ixion, but that's a good thing. Nice graphics too!
  14. I have both Illustrator and Photoshop on discs somewhere. I haven't had either installed because I didn't use them frequently to warrant the amount of space they filled on my hard drive... well, at least that used to be my excuse (when I only had 8GB). Also, the little knowledge of either program, I learned on a Mac... and moving back and forth from PC to Mac got confusing. Since then, I usually have used pen & ink, a scanner, and Paint Shop Pro for my projects. I installed Freehand earlier today and it is exactly what I would have liked to have had for the project I showed above. You wouldn't know it, but I spent an obscene amount of time inking, and re-inking, those cycles (when I made a mistake or had to add something). Freehand would have saved me a lot of grief and I could have done a much more crisp job. The program is relatively small, inexpensive, and the ease of use is incredible! Maybe the novelty will eventually wear off, but it seems like with Freehand, anyone could make a decent drawing. What I really need is a Mac and some good software.
  15. I need to check Freehand out. It looks like it would have come in handy for a freelance project I just finished. My client needed two large line drawings of her and her husband's (custom) Harley Davidson cycles - to be engraven on their headstones. I know nothing about motorcycles and she only had a couple of old and blurry photos to work from. A lot of the project was frustrating because what wasn't shown in the photos, I had to make up. I fought with it for a while and never felt like it came out as clean and crisp as I wanted. Luckily, she liked them... well enough that she paid a 33% tip!
  16. I think the sequel should be a hack of Coconuts, except with Bingo the poo-flinging monkey. Eeep Eeep! Can I have a banana?
  17. They are a great set of games. It would be a pity if they don't see a cartridge release. I like the sound of "Synchronicity".
  18. Messy brains! I'm going to put the sale on hiatus for a few days, until all of the packages are out the door This message is only to say that I will not be accepting any new PM offers for the time - except from those people who I have already been negotiating deals with. Thanks.
  19. The Coleco tabletop games are gone. NES Double Dragon II, Deja Vu, 52-in-1, and Ninja Gaiden are gone.
  20. Glad to hear your package arrived! BTW, the NES repros are now also for sale.
  21. I'm sorry that I had to edit that. It was too much! Have a nice day.
  22. I'm not getting near as much luck here as I had hoped! I need offers or this sh.. err, stuff is going to eBay!
