NES (Megaman, Lolo, Zelda, etc) & More!

I think I got most of the binaries here, in case someone doesn't want to go dig around on those pages. Some interesting ideas here; It's just too bad most of them are 2-player only. I'd like to play against someone in the the doubles Breakout game though. bBasic.zip

NES (Megaman, Lolo, Zelda, etc) & More!
uosipa llamxew replied to uosipa llamxew's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I guess I lied. I should be in bed, but I dug out some more games and took pictures. Again, the lighting isn't the greatest here at night. As usual... please allow me plenty of time to respond to any PMs. I'm fighting for time. -

NES (Megaman, Lolo, Zelda, etc) & More!

I snuck away for a second. I looked a bit closer and neither of the two handhelds have anything on them that indicate that they were happy meal toys. I'm not sure where I got that idea from. Also, I playtested each of them... The Mario Kart road does not revolve anymore; I'd crack it open to fix it, but it seems pretty solid. The Crash Bandicoot game is also a racing game and includes instructions. Unfortunately (and as you can tell from the pics) the lighting in this room is really bad in the evening and so I didn't play long. Also the sound effects were wretched... or maybe the battery is dying. It seemed to be very much a dodge the cars type of game. I accidentally lied about the whole "mirror lighting" thing. There isn't a mirror at all... the screen is lit from the backside kinda like a viewmaster... except different. @MegaManFan: So, the MarioKart is broken (although, it would be neat if you could fix it somehow) and I think that Crash Bandicoot's battery is dying. If you still want them, I will throw them in free of charge with anything else you want to purchase. I also think I have a bunch of Sonic The Hedgehog McDonalds handhelds somewhere if you are interested - they are not sealed, however. I'm out of time tonight, but I'll probably update this thread in the morning some time. -
NES (Megaman, Lolo, Zelda, etc) & More!
uosipa llamxew replied to uosipa llamxew's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Megaman 1 & 2 are already gone (as are a few of the other loose & boxed "good label" NES games). The Crash Bandicoot thing is a weird game that is lit through a mirror to light the screen - hard to explain. The Mario Kart handheld isn't really a game at all. It winds up and the paper road scrolls... a kid can make believe that they are driving the kart on the road as they push the steering wheel back and forth to steer. Unfortunately the paper road is a bit crumpled. I think both of these were either McDonalds or BK toys at one time... I got them second-hand. I'll try and get some better pictures later. I'll try and find time to update the lists and post more stuff soon. My life is incredibly hectic right now. -

Some more junk... err I mean cool stuff for you to buy. You know you need it. Still more to come when I get some more time. Questions concerning an individual game's condition will take even more time. Remember to include an offer in your PM; I don't really keep up to date with the rarity/value of games and so when I get asked "how much for game X", I usually close a PM and get on to the next one. Also, and I hate to be a punk about this, I'd like to sell this stuff in small lots. I don't usually do a lot of selling and shipping is not the most convenient thing for me. In other words... 20 dollars minimum. Thanks for looking. ColecoVision, SNES, Coleco tabletops, and more Atari stuff to come soon. -
Due to some unexpected events, I have recently found myself with some unplanned expenses. I've already sold most of my cd and movie library, so now I'm on to NES stuff. I'm on a bit of a schedule this morning, so I'm not going to list the games... rather I am posting two oversized pictures that should show what I have. A quick note - there are a few repros in here (as well as 2 or 3 games that are my brother's); until I contact the right person about resaling them, they are not for sale. These are my good label games. I have a box somewhere in the garage with all my crappy label/boxed stuff - I may list later. The Vic and TI stuff is also for sale (as are the computers) if anyone is interested. I also have a bunch of sealed BK Activision games, and four or five Coleco tabletops varying from new to crap condition. Watch this thread for other stuff that I haven't the time to think about to list right now. Unless it is a deal I cannot refuse, I would rather sell these games in lots of three or more. Feel free to check my feedback in the forum and on eBay. I accept Paypal. PM me with your offers and please allow me some time to reply to any PMs. Please don't ask, "how much do you want for...". Phew, that was a mouthful... I'm late!

So Much For Top Loading NES!
uosipa llamxew replied to sandmountainslim's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Heh, I have to wedge a game manual in between the game and gameslot for mine to work half of the time! I have to say though, it still works better than any of the four toaster oven NES consoles I have lying about. -
As man gradually depletes Earth of its resources, the frog finds itself fighting to survive in an unsuitable living environment. In the beginning, it is not so difficult for the frog to adapt to his new surroundings. Over time, man's reckless abandon starts to take a toll. People carelessly speed down roads with little or no care whatever wildlife may remain in the area. Air pollution and litter cause the turtle population to become endangered. As man further depletes the Earth of its natural resources, it becomes noticeable as the lumber mill sends fewer logs down the stream. Alligators and snakes, which hadn't before inhabited the area have migrated from their own destroyed homes. The frog's fight for life is a noble one, but truly it is futile. Enevitably the frog will die and become extinct. The species is soon forgotten as man moves on... to the Defender cabinet next door.

I discovered and played Super Ninja Kun for Super Famicom today. Unlike Squashed, it looks and feels more like the arcade games. http://www.romnation.net/srv/roms/42975/sn...inja-Kun-J.html Edit: Wow, this is kinda hard... but fun! There are new weapons and lots of different moves to learn. It's kinda hard when you can't read the language. It's just too bad the music sucks so bad.

Bad choice of words on my part... I blame beer! (which is also my defense for my other post in this thread) Shooting the character to manipulate his movement is a similar idea.

The control concept is not unlike Gumshoe for the NES.

New Board Software: Problems & Suggestions

Tonight I replied to a PM. When my screen refreshed, my message didn't show up in my "sent" folder. I sent it again... one more time... it still didn't show up. No luck! Finally, I posted the message as a "reply" to a thread, which seemed to work just fine. Later, I got a response from the other user, via PM. As far as I could tell, he received the private message(s), but I didn't ask. I wonder if he recieved the message 3 times! Maybe I WILL ask. -
Stan, my man, you of all people deserve to have a Pac-Man cabinet! Still, I envy you in the worst of ways. Forgive me.

Space Channel 5 - PS2 Version

OMG! I hadn't even thought to do that! -
Odd combinations like these are one of the reasons why I love classic gaming! Gaming used to be all about imagination and experimentation! Regardless of whether there was a manual, you could make up your own story and enjoy the game from your own perspective. Who else remembers the day when a game manual wasn't imperative to fully experience a video game? Whether or not there was a manual with a story, it was all about imagination and experimentation then; you could make up your own story! I also love classic gaming because these lost gems turn up unnanounced - so mysterious! What the hell were these game authors thinking? What is the history behind these lost games? Perhaps we'll never know for sure. I like that. :-)
