I never liked those joy-sensor controllers... might be neat for a collection though. I used to spend hours engrossed in the Wishbook around the holiday time. When I'd make my christmas list, I'd actually write down the item number to make it easier for Santa Claus to make an order. Besides games, I think I must have spent the most time looking at He-Man stuff... Thunder Mountain was so cool with the built in microphone. He-man was always my favorite. I don't think I ever did get anything I picked out of the Wishbook, but I was very rarely let down with what I did get. I'm pretty easy to please. :-) (That is except for the cabbage patch doll I got one year. YUCK!)

1) Download the setup file: 2) Install 3) Run wntipcfg.exe for some reason the default is to unload these files in a C:program filesresource kit folder. It is much handier if the wntipcfg is in your route directory so that you can just type in "wntipcfg" from your command prompt. So it is... I have never played Fast Eddie before tonight, but I gotta say, I like the graphics in Pack-Rat much better. :-)

i saved ducks, and space invaders, froggers, pesco-crabs, airplanes, berzerk robots, inkies, and crocodiles... so far. Is there more? pretty neat! so uh, what game is this a hack of?

So I finally got my copy of this one today - Pretty label too (Thanks to Spendtoomuchonatari)! Anyways, I doubt that I'll be getting the !!!!!! very soon, but at least now I'm in the game. :-) BTW, can anyone really play the game like the attract screen shows? I mean, he's running around haphazardly and getting the most bonus points I think are possible. If anyone can play like this, I'd love to watch 'em play through a game... kinda like that video that was up a while back of a guy who was playing Frostbite on pure instinct. That was neat! k

I bought myself an SMS zapper (NIB), but was waiting to get the adapter from Rob until after I have a copy of Sentinel to play with the gun. Unfortunately, I keep getting outbid on eBay... Oh, the frustration that is my life. :-) For now, I guess I'll just have to fire up Barker Bill's Trick Shooting, on the NES, to get my gunfix. kbye

I have two or three Nintendo adapters - Which if I remember right will work. (it's been a few years since I got rid of my Genny). If you are interested, PM me with the Atari games you have for trade. Oh, and if you aren't interested, I'd say check a local thrift. They usually have a ton of Genesis and NES adapters for like a dollar a piece. kbye.

I thought that this auction had been overlooked and that I was going to get the game for a good price. I guess that's what I get for thinking. :-(

You could always make your own. Simply copy down the Paypal logo, modify the graphic (adding "no credit... cash only"... etc), and then display it prominently in your auction (as well as writing clearly in text that you don't take credit). As long as you have it clear in your auction that you won't take the credit card - even through Paypal, then the bidder has no ground to complain. A simple honest question though... how else do make a payment through Paypal? I have only ever used a credit card. Do you have to send cash to them, and then they forward it to you? Or do you use an ATM or debit card?

I don't know why I never have this kind of luck. Even on common carts I bid on, it seems people snipe the auction or bid it way up beyond limits of logic. Good deal on that Sprintmaster. :-)

No offense, but when I read a warning like this in an auction, there's no way I'll bid. Yah, it's likely that the transaction would still go smoothly if I do bid, but the warning is like a "Beware of Dog" sign in front of someone's house. If I don't have to go up there, I won't! This sort of warning seems more likely to tell bidders that the owner of the auction has a chip on his shoulder. As in the case with this auction, any exceptions should have been printed clearly in the auction itself. Otherwise the owner of the auction should have to eat the losses, consider it a learning experience, and make changes when he relists the auction. It is rare that I will ever bid on an auction that doesn't accept Paypal. I don't own a checkbook (was robbed years ago and refuse to own one). Money orders are a hassle... not only does someone now need to make a special trip to purchase the money order, he must pay an added fee, fill it out, and then purchase postage. Then he'll have to make a trip to the post office to mail the payment off. Time is valuable to most people... the time it would take me to accomplish these things is far more valuable to me than 2 bucks. I cannot speak for the bidder of this auction, my point is that you never know what a person's circumstances are. My opinion is that when the changes are noted after the auction ends or an auction description isn't really clear, it really is the auction owner's responsibility to make things right. If that means relisting, then that's what you've gotta do... just hope you don't get a negative feedback. I think you did the right thing here. Since you are offering payment option the way it was written in your auction, I don't think there is any excuse for her not to complete the deal now. :-) Just my .02

Are you compressing it without sound? You might be able to cut down on size this way.

Sending around a CD-ROM with the video might be easier than the tape - cheaper too. And you could attach the list of people's names... and have 'em sign it (like a guest list or a library card inside a book).

You could get a list of people who want to see the video and then send it around, like the globetrotter cartridge. The only catch to getting to view the tape is that one would be obligated to pay shipping to the next person in line. Just an idea. And this way no quality would be lost in a conversion.
