yeah, every now and then, i'll check a magazine rack to see if there is a nintendo mag with a demo disc. i have a ton of dreamcast demos and ps2 demos. nintendo really should put out a demo disc. i've bought several games that i probably would have never heard of if it weren't for the demo disc.

dec 31 releases: Bubble Bobble for the Nintendo, Light Crusader for the Sega Genesis, and Top Hunter for the Neo-Geo.

i wasn't being sarcastic. it really does make playing wii better. it's fun to brag to kids about having one, too. especially right after christmas.

yeah, playing mario galaxy is so much better knowing that there are kids all over that won't be getting a wii for xmas.

i can't believe this hasn't been updated yet. anyway, baseball stars 2 for neo geo came out today. i've been waiting for this one. i forgot what other games came out. i think pokemon snap and something else were the other two.

that dollar amount can't be correct, because that would mean that the average download costs less than five bucks.

well, i don't own a turbographx-16 or a n64, so the only vc titles i'd consider buying are for those 2 systems. and man, 10 bucks is steep for a nonphysical copy.

i bowled a 257 the other day. i know that it wasn't a fluke, cause the very next game (which was the next day, at a friend's house) i bowled a 247. but yeah, that robot was an impressive creation. kinda bittersweet, though.

plan on getting it next. 50 bucks is kinda hard to come by, these days.

ever since i bought my wii back in january, i haven't even touched any of my other game systems (aside from my neo geo pocket.) before wii, i bought for a few different systems and played mame, but i haven't really PLAYED a whole lot in many years. saturday, i put in 6 hours on excite truck. come on. wii is the real deal. i've actually gotten together with people to play wii sports. people that don't even play videogames. and they love it. i remember a few years back, when everybody was like, "everything's been done. there is no more optimism." and i think that that is a big part of why i went back to playing old games, watching old movies, etc. yeah, nostalgia was part of it, but i think it was all about remembering the optimism of things to come. and thinking that that optimism was gone. but to me, the wii is proof that everything hasn't been done, and that we do have something to look forward to. oh yeah, and i'm not just talking about videogames.

excite truck for sure. as for rayman, i got tired of it after 2 days. next up for me is super paper mario. oh yeah, i wouldn't suggest wii play, either. i'm really getting sick of these half-assed mini games.
