final fantasy 7 turned me off big time. to me, it's like the antithesis of what a videogame should be. but, that is just my opinion. i can see why people would really love it. but if i remember correctly, that game made me give up playing videogames for 3 or 4 years. i hated it that much.

i have access to a betaSP VCR. I'd love to watch an SP copy. I won't sic the cops after you if you do this behind the scenes, but I really don't want this to be the way people see it on DVD. I shot this stuff on a broadcast quality BetaSP camera that was worth tens of thousands of dollars. If you ever saw the footage directly coming out of a BetaSP VCR, the colors pop out, the detail is outstanding. It's a kick-ass video format. Better than DVD or MiniDV. No MPEG blockiness. Even after the quality loss of hitting the ToasterFlyer VTASC codec it beats the crap out of VHS.

yes, as i found out today. man, i remember it being so kick ass, but playing it now........ oh well, i just bought excite truck BIN on ebay, so i'm excited for that.

got mine tonite from target. played the first few games. kinda sucks so far. really, i just wanted another wiimote. still wish it would've been $40.

no, i didn't get it yet, they just shipped it out friday after being signed up for 2 days. and i'm not talking about the wait from them sending it, to me recieving it, i'm talking about the wait from them recieving a title from me and then sending out my next game. i get the feeling that there will be a long wait for good wii games. which basically tells me that i will either have to settle for games that i don't really want, or wait around for days for a game that i do want.

i just signed up with gottaplay a couple of days ago. they just sent my first game today. i'm thinking that i am gonna have trouble getting wii games in a timely manner. anyone?

i don't understand why everyone is so in love with guitar hero?!? a guy that i know that works at gamestop got me to play GH2 one day a few weeks ago, and i wasn't at all impressed. i would have preferred to play the song on an actual guitar along with the cd. however, i am curious to see wii music, so i can play wii drums. i just wonder what they'll do for the kick pedal. dammit, i still haven't played any wii games (aside from sports). i should have bought metal slug instead of that lan adapter. i signed up with gotta play today, so i should be playing something in the next couple of days.

ok, i've had my wii for a few days now, but i'm not sure if i'm doing everything online that there is to do. so, what can currently be done online with a wii?

walmart has them at midnite tonite. each store is supposed to get 20+ consoles.

no zelda for me. i think that i played a few minutes of the nes version. i remember this kid that left his nes turned on for a week while he was on vacation, because he had gotten so far on zelda that he didn't want to turn the power off. i think it was zelda.

i must admit, i have not played a whole lot of atari this past year. ms. pac-man: just got this one this year, new in box. it smelled great. e.t.: yes, i like e.t. missile command: i think my favorite thing about m.c. is when the game is over and everything blows up. the sound is great. cosmic ark: one of my favorites. i love the sounds and when the asteroids start coming in really fast. dig dug: not the best port, but always has been a favorite of mine.

i'm an original gamer. i grew up playing the 2600. funny though, i never even knew what an intellivision or colecovision was until recent years. i thought atari was the only thing out, until nintendo.

i've got ms. pac-man in my 2600 right now. i think that it's my wife's favorite videogame.

i've always liked e.t. it's an atari game that you can actually 'beat'.
