I have the Steve Tucker (AtariMax) version. C) 2005. I use No Handshaking on 3 and it works fine.

Quick question.... How do you switch between JiffyDos and stock kernel under Vice? Real hardware is a switch, but how do you do it under Vice?

I will be out of town today for work, and will not be back till tomorrow morning, I will try to record a detailed video when I get back. I appreciate all the help.

Tried Com1 and Com2 both just made the farting noise and went in to Basic. PS, I have the Ultimate Cart and the Ultimate 1MB installed. No matter what OS or whiteout the cart, still does the same thing, yet no problems on version 3.

The program runs, it will just not boot disk images, whereas 3 is fine. Windows 7.

I mount the disk image, turn on the power, it makes the farting noise, and then goes right to basic. Multiple disk images tried. Close down, open version 3 back up, and they boot fine. Hardware is the serial version of SIO2PC, with a USB adapter. As mentioned, 3 works fine, and 4 will not boot. Both use Serial port 2 if that makes a difference. Would also like to get APE to work, as I like the colorful display and all the options, and would really like to get BobTerm going so I can get back on some BBS'es.

Here is TWENTY NINE versions of Centipede for the 8-bit. If it is not in here, it does not exist. Centipete.rar

Glenn the 5200 Man converted 5200 Centipede to the 8-bits in the early 80s. It is easy to find out there. Also, If you have a real 8-bit (any model) you are just a small piece of software away from having your own dumping studio. Pretty simple program. Just run it, it will tell you to drop the cart in the slot, and it will write it to disk. Sometimes you might have to push the cart in the slot a couple of times, but it did work. If my 13 year old self was able to do it, you can do it. Centipede 5200.atr

Have a Wico Command Control joystick that has become way to sensitive. I took a quick peek inside and saw it had leaf springs. How do I tighten this thing up? It is almost like an analog stick. I just barely touch it and it goes in that direction. Have a few others that are the normal stiffness. What needs to be done?

Good lord people!! It is $40!!! FORTY US DOLLARS!!! Just buy the damn thing!! It is not like they are asking for your first born, and you have to mortgage the house!! Most of you will drop $40 on beer on a Friday night, EASILY!! It plays vintage games, It is inexpensive, It is encouraging developers to make more products, I am buying it sight unseen. I will worry about the details later.

Greetings gang, I have been on AtariAge for quite a few years, and have always wanted one since it's release. I got it about a year or so ago from Video Game Connection in Cleveland, Oh. I have known the owner for quite a few years, and he has quite a few good deals. I got the Bally unit with Incredible Wizard, but missing the smoked cover in the back for $75. Anyhow, I grew up with the Atari 400 and 800. Added a VCS (2600) a short time later, but was very familiar with all the competition. A good friend of mine (who I am still close friends with today) Tracey, had a Bally, and I was SO JEALOUS. She somehow had Muncher, as well as Astro Battle (Space Invaders) and a few others. I attended the CCAG show here in Cleveland every year and got to know Ken Lill and Mike White pretty good. Still jealous of their WHITE Bally units!! Ken always sold his UltiMulti cart at the shows, and I wish I would have picked one up. Did not have the Bally unit yet, but I knew I would someday. Anyhow, I just got the UltiMulti 3.0 from Ken a week or so ago. THIS THING ROCKS!! If you do not have one, GET ONE!! Ken is a first class guy, plus he is an Ohioan. I picked up a smoked cover off ebay for a great price. Seller was asking a bit more than I wanted to pay. Made an offer, and he accepted. It is the Bally Computer System cover, and my unit is a newer Astrovision, so it does not exactly match from a collectors standpoint, but without seeing the serial number sticker, no body has any clue. I am so glad I finally added this great piece of hardware to my collection. I can not say enough good thing's about Ken's UltiMulti cart!! Something EVERY Bally owner needs!! I have replaced the original RF cable that came with it, as the insulation covering did not go all the way to the connector, and I am assuming that is the reason I got it so cheap. I must admit, that this system probably has the BEST RF output of any of the systems I own. This includes several 2600's, 5200, two 7800's (both signed by Steve Golson from GCC), two Colecovisions, two Intellivisions, Odyssey 2, Atari Video Pinball and others. I am an emulation JUNKIE. I have been emulating sing the days of the Atari ST. I have been Mame since before it was Mame, when it was know as the Multi Pac Emulator. I have played Bally in Mame for years, but it feels so good to play this on real hardware after all these years. Scott PS- Did I mention if you are reading this, you need an UltiMulti??

I am a little late to the party, but I got one a year or so ago, and it works great. No issues. Picture quality is the same (or possibly a touch better) than component.

Sadly, Mine is an Astrocade with a 1000-2 serial number. Did Ward's sell the later models?
