  1. Can not wait to see what is next!! I *****LOVE***** my Bliss Box 4 Play!!!!!
  2. It works with all the other USB-to-retro controller adapters I have like 4 Play, original Bliss Box, Stelladapter etc.... etc.... etc... so do not see a reason why it won't. Raspberry Pi emulation is amazing. I travel a lot, and spend a lot of time in hotels, and take it with me all the time.
  3. Yes, I have received the message. For some unknown reason, the original messages were not coming through. I checked the spam filter, and had nothing, but I do see in one of the messages that you sent, that you did indeed reply, but for some unknown reason it did not make it. Thank you so much for your handling of this matter. I have heard many good things about you/your company, and knew it was not normal to experience problems of this sort. As I mentioned this item was a Christmas gift, and I thank you so much for sending the proper one out, I am sure it will get here on/close to Christmas. Please let me know what you would like me to do with the wrong item that you shipped me. I look forward to doing business with you again, as I am a long time Atari 8-bit fan, and I want to get an SIO2SD for my own use once I get my Atari 800 set back up. It is in a storage locker at the moment, as I live in a small condominium and do not have the space. Thank you again to all involved and have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. God Bless, Scott
  4. One of my all time favorite arcade games. I love this as well as other less known games from the era like Astro Invader. Thank you for releasing this! Can not wait to try it!!
  5. Someone see the latest!! One seeder, and I am no connectiong. My computer is on 24x and I will seed if I can get it so I can share it. It is small enough, you should use an Uploaded to file Gator or similar account.
  6. Star League Baseball ROCKED!! One of my early purchases. Best friend and I played it back in the day, and have played it ever since to this day. Now we use emulation, but that game ROCKED!! Many intense battles.
  7. Best I can tell, Flashback controllers are identical to the original in size, I have both, and while I do not have a pair of calipers to get a precise measurement, I am almost positive they are identical in size. I will see what I can find out and post back.
  8. Title says it all.... Would you change anything? Comments?? Suggestions???

    MAME bootable CD

I know it is for the old computer, but I really like the version of Mame for the Raspberry Pi. $35 and it connects to any HDMI or composite video source, and does an amazing job. I travel a lot for work, and take it with me to the hotels to play on their TV. Awesome stuff.
  10. Why use knock offs when you can use the real thing? ANY of them.....
  11. No play with the girl. I am very happily married thank you. Most of the time collectors sell to other collectors at below the over inflated ePay prices. I just sold my Ms. Pac-Man arcade machine to a friend who owns an arcade for $200. Sure, I knew I could have sold it on ePay for a lot more, or through a 60-in-1 board in it, and sold it for a HELL of a lot more, But It was to a fellow collector, and I knew it was going to a good home.
  12. That is why you do not type when you are tired. N64 is correct. Changed in top message. Thank you for pointing that out.
  13. I second Altirra. A bit hard to configure, as there are a LOT of options, but this thing ROCKS!
  14. Just fired up Altirra and 5200 Pole Position played fine. Go under Input>Port 1 and select "keyboard => 5200 Controller (port 1)"? I own a real 5200 with Pole Position, and this game is MADE for those analog controllers that everybody hates so much. Plays AWESOME on a real 5200, on Altirra, use the 400/800 version.
  15. Actually it is not for me, Even though I have a N64, My forte is the earlier system like the three Atari's, Colecovision and Intellivision. It is for a young girl (early 20s) who is a good friend of mine who works at a convenience store, so she does not have a lot of money. She is really nice and I feel bad for her. We have watched several on eBay but she is looking to try to keep it under $10 including shipping. I looked at the game via emulation, and it is not my cup of tea, but whatever floats her boat. Thanks in advance, Scotty
  16. Thank you for that, I will have to give it a try. I really like Altirra. What do I got to do to get it running in there?
  17. I heard that the Altira emulator is the only one that can run FLAC cassette images. How do I do it? Can not find anything about it in the program or on the web. Thanks for your help.
  18. First a little background. I am 47 years old, and I was an 'acade whore' back in the day. If there was an arcade to be found, my nose (ass, and the rest of me) was in it. I lived for arcade games. I have seen and played a lot of games that I hear podcasters, and read forum posts that people have never heard of, or never played "in the wild". Carnival, Targ, Astro Invader, Astro Fighter, Crazy Kong, Crazy Climber, Goal to Go, Space Invaders II (Cocktail), Head On and so many others saw lots of my quarters. Often at multiple locations. I LOVED the bootlegs! New Puck-X, NewPuck2, Hangly-Man, Popeye Pac-Man, Super Galaxian etc.... Played them ALL in the wild. Pinball was the same way. If I saw a new machine I had to play it. Long story short, I have played a LOT of games, and spent a LOT of quarters. Now getting back to the subject matter.... After attending many pinball and arcade shows, I honestly think I prefer emulation for both pinball and arcade games. Before You skip the rest, and flame me, hear me out. I love the real hardware. I really do. However, of the hundreds of real machines (pinball and video, solid state and EM), I have to say, in most cases, BUT NOT ALL, I prefer emulation. Being born in the summer of 67, and growing up in the 70's and 80's, I played a LOT of EM pinball. The local convenience store by my house had a Bally's Old Chicago pinball, 2 plays for a quarter, and 5 balls a game. $1 got you a LOT of pinball. **FOURTY** balls before any extra balls or replays!! I played a LOT of pinball!! In those days I also played a lot of Kiss, Six Million Dollar Man, Night Rider, Black Knight, Haunted House, Superman, Hercules, Laser Ball (LOVED that one!!) Silverball Mania, Space Invaders (pinball), Black Hole, Bobby Orr Power Play, Space Mission, Fireball..... OK enough name dropping.... I knew where ALL the machines in town were, and there were all in a relatively close proximity. Going to not only shows with a lot of machines, but also going to pay-to-play retro arcades has made me see emulation in a new light. When it comes to NEWER games, like AC/DC, Metallica, Tron, Wizard of Oz, WWE Wrestlemania, Walking Dead, Hobbit and a lot of others, I **LOVE** playing the real deal. Especially if the table has been moded with LED lighting, new toys etc.... But older tables just do not play the way I remember them. I was just at a show a couple weeks ago, in Niles, Ohio. Great show!! However, the old EM's just did not feel the same as I remember. Night Rider, Fireball, Wizard Royal Flush and others were all there. Some even 2 of the same machine. But the bumpers, flippers and kickers were just not doing it for me. hey just could not replicate the way I remember playing them many years ago. Now we get to the video pinball games built into a cabinet. VP Cabs here in Ohio makes an awesome machine!! I know what you are thinking.... And I want to clear the air now. I am NOT being paid to say what I am saying, I am not an employee, and hell, I DO NOT EVEN OWN ONE!! On my current salary, I probably never will, but a good friend does, so I have got to play his quite a few times, and played some of the newer models displayed at the show. These things are AMAZING. I like how there is NO MAINTENANCE as far as cleaning playfield, replacing rubber rings, flippers etc. These play older machines much more closer to the way I remember them!! On my home PC, I have a 21" CRT NEC MultiSync FE2111 SB (Super Bright) that I use for the authentic CRT look and feel of video games, as well as back glass for pinball. I also have a 27" Samsung LED that I use for pinball and arcade games. The monitor easily rotates to do portrait and landscape and adjusts the video automatically. Add an X-Arcade tankstick and a Bliss Box to the mix, and you have a pretty good Mame/Pinball/Console setup. I do use the Samsung in different ways. If I leave it in ladscape mode, Vertical games like Pac-Man and Donkey Long measure 18" diagonally, so it is only 1" smaller than a real arcade cab. If I turn it profile, WOW!! Looks and plays AMAZING, and is larger than what the real arcade cabinet was. Punch-Out, Super Punch-out and others I have options. One screen on each monitor? Turn Samsung to profile and put both screens on the same monitor, at almost the same size as what dual 19's were? All of he above? Granted some games can not be played on an X-Arcade Tankstick. Battle Zone, Q*bert, Tron, Defender, Stargate, Track and Field, John Elway Quarterback, Asteroids and others. I am actually in the process of making smaller control panels in the configuration of the games listed. Overkill? Probably. But it will at least let me play the above games the way they were meant to be played. Yes, I love the real machines, and I actually own 2 arcades games, but they are going in a local arcade. I live in a 750 sq ft condo, so I have no room, so I have to make the best with what I have to work with. I still go to play the real machines, a couple times a year (or more!!), but when I have a certain game I want to play at 3AM and I need my fix..... Comments?
