  1. The best NES emulator in my opinion is the JNES.
  2. That's an awesome collection you got there. I only have three Parker Bros games in my collection. I have Frogger, GI Joe, and Spiderman.
  3. quote: Originally posted by Ze_ro: I'm still surprised they released Pong for the Gameboy Color. Man, whose idea was that?? --Zero Wow, I didn't know they released Pong for the Gameboy Color! Probably some moron over in Nintendo thought of it.
  4. There's a spot where there is a bunch of old classic arcades. They have a Ghostbusters game, Tapper, and more. Has anyone ever been there or Seaside Heights? First off, does anyone know what I'm talking about? If ya don't know, then simply ignore this thread. [ 09-04-2001: Message edited by: Devin ]
  5. Hmmm.... sounds familiar! I think I remember reading about in some magazine. I think the rumor is false.
  6. Any of you familiar with Demon Attack and/or Wizard Of Wor?
  7. Sorry if I'm being dumb and all, but Coke sucks!! Pepsi rules!
  8. Hmmm.... my favorite games.. One of my favorite game is Mario Bros (lame, right) It was fun as hell! I would play that game for hours. Any you guys like Mario Bros? Pole Position 2 is another favorite of mine. I played it recently and racked up major points! I did better than I did in the 80s, hehe. I wish I could of played the first Pole Position. My least favorite is a toughy. I have no least favorite. The closest to be being my least favorite was Donkey Kong JR. I used to get so pissed off at the game!! : : I used to really get angry when I continuously died in that game. I think I remember myself throwing the actual cart across the room! I believe I'm exaggerating there . Oh yea, I wanna add something to what Tempest was saying about Galaga: The controls are messed up in Galaga. You're absolutely right about that. I remember it did have pretty sloppy controls. I haven't played it in a long time but I'll play it in my free time or whatever.
  9. I'm not collector at this time, but that sounds hard! I can't imagine anyone with that amount of games. I can see someone with 100 or so. But not over 500! I think it's pretty cool and insane at the same time. Goodluck getting those games!
  10. quote: Originally posted by Devin: Thanx for the advice man. I think I'm not be a collector though. I may become a collector in the near future, but for now I wanna enjoy the games I have. Ugh! I hate it when I type fast and don't know whether my grammar is good or not. I meant: I think I'm not gonna be a collector though. All the rest makes sense and all.
  11. This is all I gotta say about this website: IT RULES!!! I have finally found a really good Atari site. All the rest are either garbage or are not accurate. This page has it all! It's got stuff I know (like the games and systems) and stuff I did not know in the past (details on systems, games, etc.). My favortie part of this site is: the message board! I love message boards and this one is turning out to be one of my favorite boards. That's it, this post is ova .
  12. My experience with the 7800 controllers isn't great either. I wanna get them repaired as well. I think I might make a big comeback with Atari . I'm currently into the new gaming world with the N64, Playstation, and PC. I wanted to relive the Atari days once again and I did so.
  13. I live sorta close to Philly. I have gone there a couple of times to see all the sites. I saw Liberty Bell and all of those historical sites. It was pretty awesome and the Puerto Rican parade was going on the day I was there.
  14. I'm probably most definetly going to take picture of my 7800 with 2600 and 7800 games. The only thing is... my digital camera isn't working right and I can't download the pictures onto my comp. I'll see what I can do...
  15. Thanx for the advice man. I think I'm not be a collector though. I may become a collector in the near future, but for now I wanna enjoy the games I have.

    Sears

I must really suck for having Pac Man from Sears, don't I? Basically, many of my Atari games are from Sears. I remembered that Sears was the only place that carried all the goods. But... I don't know where I got GI Joe and all that. They were maybe at Sears, but that was a long arse time ago. Someday on E-bay I wanna get all the rarities and stuff. It would be awesome to get a prototype game! But I don't think so... too hard to get. Later.
  17. I found this site and message board by searching "River Raid Activision" on Google. I found a whole bunch of Atari related sites, but I found this one to be cooler than the others. I have an Atari 7800 system. I recently hooked it up again. It was a pain in the arse hooking it up again. I had to put that stupid video and tv switch thingy. Obviously, I have had my Atari 7800 since the days of hair bands and Ronald Reagan I only have a couple of 7800 games. The majority of my Atari collection is 2600 and 5200 games. I think the Atari 7800 is the god of all Ataris! It can play virtually any Atari game which totally kicks arse. Some of my favourite games include: River Raid, Wizard of Wor, Galaga, etc. It's pretty hard to say which games are my favourties since there are so many I have.
