Hey everyone. Long time lurker. Anyway, after a series of moves and moving around collections, I have a few odds and ends that aren't worth listing on ebay, or I feel they would be of better use to the collector community. I'll list "prices" after each item. I don't have any sort of reputation on these boards, but if you are concerned I can offer my eBay ID so you can view my feedback. Anyway - on with the list! "X Skillz" USB Gameube Controller Adapter - This is for your PC or Mac, and you can use your Gamecube controller on your computer (not Wavebird). It also has a 3.5 disk with the driver on it for PC, or it just works when you plug it into your Mac. Works awesome for N64 emulation. 5 bucks, or TRADE (see below for trade) Chase H.Q. for Game Boy Color - cart only. Label has wear on it. Works fine. TRADE, or free with anything else. Boomer's Adventure in ASMIK World for Game Boy - Fun puzzle game I've had since I was a kid. Cart only, and in good shape. TRADE, or free with anything else. Warlocked for Game Boy Color - Fun Real-Time Strategy. Cart only. A little tough to find, but by no means rare. 3 bucks or TRADE. Wing Command Prophecy for the GBA - Complete in Box, but box is a little bit smooshed on one end. 3 bucks or TRADE Pokemon Pinball for Game Boy Color - Loose cart, missing the battery cover for rumble. This is free with anything else. Virtua Tennis for GBA - Complete in Box. 3 bucks or TRADE Advance Wars 2 for GBA - This is the box and instructions only - but they are nice and minty. Good for a collector who is looking to complete their loose cart. Free with anything else. Metal Gear Solid 2 for the XBOX - Complete in Box. I love this game so much.. I've played it to death. Worth a bajillion dollars, but it is your for 4 dollars or TRADE. Project Gotham Racing 2 / XBOX Arcade - This was the pack-in for an Xbox Live Subscription, and it included PGR2. 2 bucks, or TRADE. Stelladaptor - This is complete and hardly used. Check it out on the Atariage store, it is a USB adaptor so you can plug your 2600 controller into your USB port on your PC. It sells for 30 bucks on Atariage, and I've only used mine twice. It is still in it's original bags and has it's original documentation. I'd really like this to go to someone who can use it. 15 bucks, or TRADE. SUPERJOY III - It's the Super Joy III! One of those famicom clones that look like a N64 controller. It is the "system" only, I don't have the light gun or second controller. Works fine if you plug it in with a NES A/C Adapter. Blue in color. 3 bucks, or TRADE. As far as trades - here are the systems I collect for: Nintendo Wii, Famicom, GBA, Gamecube, Nintendo DS. Offer me anything in these catagories, or make an off the wall offer for one or all of any of the items. I like weird things, so if you got some random junk and want some of my random junk, then let's trade. The only thing I'm really "looking" for is Super Smash Bros. for the Gamecube. If you have that (complete) and want everything listed above, it's yours. First come, first serve on all items above. You can contact me on here through PM, or you can email me directly at breakupthespace AT gmail DOT com. I also have an XBOX that I'm looking to get rid of, if you are in the L.A. area and want an XBOX to install linux on or whatever, let me know. Thanks, Robert

Ok, so I have a brand new extra Stelladapter that is minty fresh in the package, waiting for someone who needs one. I've never traded on here before, but I can show you my eBay feedback. I'm open for cash offers or comparable 2600/NES trades. Its really just sitting here doing nothing, and I'm sure it could be put to better use to someone with a bunch of 2600 roms. -Robert

Best place to get Gamebits screwdrivers?
youarefree replied to youarefree's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Wow.. I'm such an idiot. Sorry for taking up your time by forcing you to reply to my post and show my stupidity. I believe, he was simply referring to searching for "gamebit", I do not believe there was any hostility involved here. http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?a...lite=%2Bgamebit You are probably correct... I had a bad day at work at most likely misread the post. I stand (sit at the moment) corrected. -
Best place to get Gamebits screwdrivers?

I'm going to have to do that when I move back home to PA. If it's the local been open forever guy behind the counter is 80 years old kind of place they will either have it or be able to tell you where to get it. My local hardware store was able to get me things like a micrometer and other specialty tools I can't readily get elsewhere, mainly because his family has been in the same location for 90 years and they know their stuff. If it's Home Depot or Lowes, they will look at you like you are crazy or point you to the lumber aisle. If you're looking for just about anything tool related online, mcmaster-carr is the king: http://www.mcmaster.com/ If they don't have a part or tool, it's probably not made anymore. Thanks for the link. I'm in Santa Monica, California... so every hardware place here is a corporate run store with a 16 year old behind the counter. I don't trust the cheap-o looking bits on ebay, and I'm much rather spend a little more money to get a lot more quality. -

Yobo NES Clone and Famicom Disk System?
youarefree replied to youarefree's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Gyromite for 5 cents.. who wouldn't buy it? Plus.. it might contain the famicom adapter inside. Wrecking Crew is another nice find, one of those older titles that isn't that common. I just picked up Ice Climbers for 50 cents. In the next few weeks I'm going to be "modding" my Yobo to make it more sturdy.. I'll start a new thread when I do. -
Hey everyone. Where is the best place to get the gamebit screwdrivers that are used to open up NES carts? I found a few places, but the prices they wanted were ridiculous!

What Killed Sega Saturn & Dreamcast?
youarefree replied to Atariboy2600's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I definetly believe piracy had a lot to do with the downfall of the dreamcast. I was an "early adopter" of the DC, and never pirated any games. I looked forward to new releases, and loved the online gameplay. However, despite all the great reviews, original games and solid hardware, it always felt that the DC "on the edge" of making it.. constantly struggling. When games began to be distributed all over the net, I could tell it would be part of the downfall. And of course.. the PS2 didn't help either. -
Yobo NES Clone and Famicom Disk System?
youarefree replied to youarefree's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I would say yes. They're the same hardware, but the Yobo costs half of what the NEX does. Your mileage may vary. I don't have the Generation NEX, but from what I've heard the compatibility is no better (or worse) on the NEX. The NEX has great design and built in wireless, but all other reviews have been less than favorable. owever... that doesn't stop me from wanting one... -
It's a close call between SNES and NES for me. I love Super Mario World, but I think NES has a lot more classic that I love. Metroid.. Kid Icarus, SMB, etc. Ok, ok.. NES wins.

Star wars games...which are your favorites?
youarefree replied to darklord1977's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I like Lego Star Wars on Xbox. The game is too short, but it is fun while it lasts. I hope the next one has more unlockables and it last longer. I also like ESB on 2600. I enjoyed Dark Forces on the PC, but it was no Doom, which was what I was into at the time. -
Yobo NES Clone and Famicom Disk System?
youarefree replied to youarefree's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I quite like the look, actually. Nice and square. At one point I had the Sega CD2 on a Genny2 with the 32x. That's a total of three power plugs, along with the jumpers for each system. I think the FDS wins over the Genny/CD/32x debacle. Plus... come on.. NES games on floppy discs!!! Agreed. The Sega Frankenstien looks way worse than the FDS. Partially because hte 32x, in an attempt to blend with both models of Genesis, fails to look good on either. The Power Base Converter, being designed solely to match a Genny1, looks like it actually BELONGS when it's connected. The Power Base Converter was a great little accessory. No external power supply.. fits well on the genny, and opens it up to lots of great SMS games. Too bad I don't have one anymore. Think I have a SMS somewhere, though. Sans controllers and hookups. -

Kaboom is definetly my all-time favorite 2600 game. I like to show off and beat people's scores one-handed.
