Welcome to the world of atari collecting jane, i reckon tons of people here and myself incuded are obssessed with collecting ofr it...i just got $200 and its basically all gone on 2600 games already as for the pepsi invaders i can understand the fear about buying a fake one and all i can say is it pays to do your home work. Another collecter in my town was obsessed with getting the three mystique games until she got them ( you know who you are ) But welcome to the gang... YOur not alone in your feelings

Pfft.. these atari joystick go bad all the time except the juniour ones... not worth the price tag on them when they retailed. Theyt are uncomfortable for starters. ( Maybe because i have big hands). I have encounted 8 of these joysticks all of em looked ok but were dead bar the fire button and 1 of em worked partially made loud noises when you moved it though and would be very unresponsive and basically woudnt respond to diagonal movments. While oit worked, it was impossible to play any game that required quick reflexes. This isnt to say they wenrt ok to buy new, they would have worked fine, im simply saying they dont last long and have an extremly short lifetime compared to some of the other joysticks out there, like TAC-2 and Slik Stick. In my opinion these CX-40's and CX-10's wernt built to last. granted they were desgined in the late 70's but bleah. I have yet to encounter a fully working CX-40. They just arnt cut out for 20 years of usage...sure if you left em locked up for the past 19 years they would be ok...

This is my rarest: Rarity 7 on pal scale Followed by rarity 6 space cavern by apollo then a bunch of rarity 5's and it goes down from there...

Gameworld Airlock - Rarity 7(PAL) (and not a pirate too)

I got 90% of em from Gametraders stores and Cash converters... i got lots of stuff from interstate gametraders by using thier site to list all the 2600 stuff they got and then just e-mail the stores from there... i managed to find one store that had heaps and was selling at $5 each and had tons of rarities ( gameworld airlock) and only charged $5 for postage no matter what and the postage was express! great guy and he gave me a free gift with every purchase. only just recently have i begun pulling stuff off ebay( accounts for 10% of my collection)

Why are CX-40's and CX-10's so brittle...they die so easy...

Not fond of all of em i dont like sports games ( and im a dude!) but i have to agree summer games isnt good compared to winter and california although in my opinion they all suck. Just summer games sucks the most.

Hmm yeah this game does get faster and harder... i like it though... 43,800 and improving but its damn fast now

TIP: When you get to the barriers to try and find the proper altitude fire at the wall if the shot explodes so will you if you remain at that altitude if it goes through then there is a fair chance that you will be fine... its hard to judge altitudes in this game

Yes they did. Im australian and have a PAL copy mate. Possibly but mine rattles too so its probably just a bit of loose plastic. But yeah they did make pall versions ( Imagic, not HES variants) sounds like you got a pal copy mate.

Perhaprs not too easy but i am finding it easy to get to the 20k mark, i got to 30k mark with a little luck i guess and some practice
