Yeah, I noticed that on one of my posts yesterday as well, I think it's OK now. Was slow too, OK now though.

Yep, that's how close it was to being released by Telegames along with a Europeon Championship Cricket game. I got this pick from JSII on a "Telegames" thread a month or two ago, it was something like, "What game do you wish Telegames had released" or "Ureleased Telegames games." You could probably do a search on JSII for "Telegames" and find it. They talked about the Cricket Jag game and another one, I think. I believe one of the Europeon JSII members found this pic. Not too good of a quality pic, but not too bad either.

skycopter and speedster 2 the rarest jag games?
ovalbugmann replied to BuddyBuddies's topic in Atari Jaguar
Has anyone got ahold of Carousel International Corporation, yet? They are listed in the eBay stores directory, and have a full line of replacement parts for their rides, it says, but I can't reach them! -

I just wanted to know what an alpha and beta mean, with regards to development.

I need to try that site out, it sounds like it will save me some hassel, thanks.

skycopter and speedster 2 the rarest jag games?

I sent a message to L4 software, but my messages were returned by the server as potential spam, was anyone else able to get through? -
I know, I also hate it when the computer freezes up at a critical time or freakin' restarts itself on me in the middle of doing something like placing a last minute bid on ebay. I would like to find out what the hell is going on in the computer that makes an error so bad, it must restart itself. Arrugghh!

Thanks for link also, I'd like to participate in this BS music poll.

Native is a very impressive demo, it would be nice if it were finished, the explosions in the game look incredibly realistic almost photo-realistic explosions.

The FireFox Brouser gives me, "The server as JSII is taking too long to respond" Internet Explorer 6 gives me, "The connection has timed out" Arrrrraahhh! uuuughhh! I hope it gets back on line, and no posts and info is lost.

WMCJ is like playing half-court B-Ball in the hood (on some courts). It has good control, action, a not too hard learning curve, you can hit! other players, steal, and everyone has smart ass comments to say while playing. Also, has good replay value, it's enjoyable I thought, you will like it.

LOL!! Yeah, I wish Ultimate Brain Games was released by Telegames, since it was just about completed. That would take care of having a Chess game on the Jag. Damn, they should have released all their other mostly completed games on the Jag to get some kind of return on their developing costs. For those of you who haven't seen any UBG pics - check this out!

WMCJ is a good basketball game despite some bad reviews, if you won that new WMCJ from goatari today, I was the other losing bidder on it. Congratulations it's a fun game. I also bid on that Jaguar baseball cap , it had the cat scratches on it, I lost that auction too, it went for $20+ dollars. I have a Jaguar hat, but it doesn't have the red scratches on the top of the sun visor.

Bubsy: Fractured Furry Tails on the Jaguar is really TOUGH!, but is also a fun and challenging game. The first time I saw Bubsy stomp his feet and knock on the TV glass, while no controller input is recieved, I thought it was very funny!

I've been ordering Jag stuff from goatari since 1997, I believe they are the original phone/web/mail Atari dealership that Atari themselves used to own & promote. Hence the name - Go Atari. They were in business when the old Atari was still around. You can't order by phone anymore and they are now independently owned. I'm not sure if "Pete" the guy who handles all the orders is an owner or worker, but all their stuff is new, pristine, and all perfect originals. They have at least one, if not two warehouses full of most of the remaining stock Atari tried to liquidate upon the JTS merger. I think Pete is trying to liquidate some of his more plentiful stock, in the best Atari Jaguar market these days, eBay. Some of their items are the store returned Jaguar stock from when Jaguar stuff was taken off the store shelves(I've noticed a few store stickers and worn, slightly damaged boxes on larger items). I'm only seeing select items at reduced prices on eBay, not much of the rarer items, probably because he doesn't want to mark those down for quick sale. His prices on goatari.com are very high.

Battlechess now that's a cool thought! I'd really like to see that game on the Jaguar for a Chess port.
-
Thanks , CPUWIZ I've always wanted to know the difference between the two, much appreciated.

Now that's not a bad idea doctorclu!

But what is an ALPHA? And what is a BETA? - I think betas are more complete than a alpha? can someone expand on this?
-
Really man! , Piracy/copying - it's the taboo subject in the Jaguar forums that is for sure! AND ARE YOU SUGGESTING THERE IS SOMEONE SELLING COPIES OF MANUALS!!! AAARRRRHHH!! --- HA! gotcha - just kidding
-
Definitely!! Yeah, and you can do anything on the computer, the whole point is to play it on the Jaguar, also the Ultimate Brain Games cart or CD that was never released did have very nice shaded Chess pieces. I like action type games too, and there should be more on the Jaguar, but chess would be niiice!

Yeah, hopefully Bruce has some extra UV & D2K boxes he can hook you up with. When I need a manual though I look no further than the AtariAge Jaguar section.

SourStuff4U seems to have met his match! Good for us!

Yes, myatari.com, Bruce and Cathy Carso own this business and they (as well as Best Electronics) both have one of the largest inventories of vintage Atari stuff in the world. Bruce used to be partners with Brad Koda (I think) of best-electronics-ca.com These people have bought pallet after pallet of Atari stuff and both are near "Sunnyvale" (former Atari HQs) California and silicon valley. Why don't you go to myatari.com and send Bruce an email with your request, I've found both these people to be very pleasent to talk to and deal with. Real gems of the Atari community. So myatari.com has boxes and you can just download whatever manual you want here at AA's Jaguar section
