And thank you, Yak, for stopping by our stomping grounds here on atariage and letting CyranoJ port Llamatron over to the Jaguar for us die hard Jaguar fans. Btw, I love your coding style, all your colorful games and beautiful lightsynthesizers - it reminds me of lsd, mushrooms and the peace and love of the 1960s hippie culture. lol

Oh, definitely! I wish we had the two disc version of the American Hero game! Glenn Bruner -Atarifan49 had a lot of information on this game, including some production storyboard models I believe and technical tools for assembly, but it was determined it would be a lot of work to complete with a good amount of re-fabrication to finish this project. I think he spoke about it at JS2 years ago. Glenn is the one to thank for this demo version we have too, since he salvaged it Sunnyvale, California and re-compiled it.

That's a bit of glum news, quite doleful, forlorn and crestfallen.
I understand though how motivation is fleeting when its no longer fun, nonetheless, thanks for trying.

Bummer,
Well, that just sucks, oh well, it's the author's prerogative though...too bad because those games looked good. I guess he's under contract still, or is going to do something else with them, or hates jag people-only love ST folks or just doesn't like to share, whatever man.It was a nice prick tease tho...

Maybe swapd0 is authorized to do something with it, but he hasn't moved on it in many years, lol
Edit: Well I'll try to go play them in Steem.

Just buy a Skunk, do it now while their still available, or you'll be sorry when you have to pay eBay prices.

Yeah, That's happened to me before, an encrypted BIWN JagCD that after two years it would only boot with a bypass cart. I recommend Taiyo Yuden/JVC, gold Verbatim even gold MAM-A if you can afford it. Don't use just any old CD-Rs only high quality ones. Atari took away all the redundancy, error checking, correcting attributes with its proprietary CD format. Everything's got to be like perfect pretty much to run and or last years. All the original Atari dev CDs were top quality gold cyan dye ones.

Sure!

A third Jeff Minter game on the Jag!!(three right?), it doesn't get better than that! Awesome things happening around here lately!

Custom Jaguar dust covers and sometimes carrying cases(original rental cases) can be found on ebay, just punch in atari jaguar there and look through all the items.

I agree with sh3-rg wholeheartedly, lets keep the life extending jagspice flowing. lolKeeping CJ doing what keeps him entertained (getting the releases out and games in people's hands) results with us all having more goodies and is more than we could wish for.
Phoenix, you should get down with getting a skunk, you won't have buyers remorse they are great items!
And i think it should be more than obvious by now that he wants to keep these ports off of physical media, likely to protect himself from reselling retards, he has a thread -"a word about st ports." -everyone needs to read it, and live it. lol. Also the titles of his st port threads have vague wording, do you think there's a reason for that?? I certainly do, think about it...... So lets honor his wishes on this repeated request and stop asking for carts and JagCds, use your skunks, or buy one now! if you want to open up your jag world. Its only gonna take one greedy flipper, to fling us all, right out of the ST on Jag world.

Sounds like teh Skunky es working good, you just need to figure out why your Mac Mini is getting that error, not sure but something else is prolly need to run on OSX.
Rev.1 Skunks are rare and a bit more sensitive so just make sure your jag is off when inserting or pulling it out.
You may need a real WindowsXP machine or Win7 comp. idk.

Awesome computer work putting this together ChrisWR!
That is a great trailer and quite professional as well.
It's great that you have nice intro graphics such as the pyramid and segments titles. I like how you have all the credits at the end done too!
Looking forward to the full movie on encrypted JaguarCD! - it will be a Jaguar exclusive feature film!!!-

merci pour rally.zip

Thanks for the binary forms of game/demo sources as I forgot how to compile after setting up a Jagdev environment, lol, I think I'll go grab Belboz's dev environment files now.
-
Thanks CJ and Remo, just getting around to trying this and I patched a Checkered Flag Rom successfully tonite (it didn't make another CF rom but altered the one I had and said a new modified time when looking at its attributes - this is correct patching function I hope) and then uploaded to Jag with Skunk, so playing it now - it seems a little better now without the increased speed of a turn the longer you press the d-pad, now it turns at a steady pace it seems, this makes it that much more playable.
I think with some practice I can enjoy this game more now.-

Jaguar on NEC Projector (not strictly Jaguar related)
in Atari Jaguar
Posted
Sounds like you need a XRGB-Mini! or definitely some other piece of equipment between the Jag and this new projector. Rolling picture sometimes means weak signal.
I would try Jaguar rgb/scart connector to a scart to component converter then to the projector.
